I've been told Seale, Boyle and Dillon aren't committing

Where do these rumours get started ?  By the time the league is up and running expect to see a more than decent portlaoise contingent involved.  A few lads involved in the Obyrne cup won't be near the league panel when it's cut so I wouldn't be getting too bothered just yet over a few glorified trial games .
Hasn't Dillon been nominated as captain this year ?

I see where Gary Brennan and Jamie Malone aren't playing with Clare next year. Should improve our chances of two points a bit in that game anyway. Brennan in particular is a brilliant footballer.

Also Kieran Martin will be not be part of the Westmeath set up this year .

Saying that it looks increasinnly likely Donie Kingston won't be part of the Laois set up in 2020.

It's going to be a very tight  . St Pats have a couple of battle hardened lads in the central areas that got them over the line the last day against Ferbane . Portlaoise have had a nice rest but this will be challenge especially in Aughrim.

Disappointing to see the South failed to field a legitimate team and having to rely on selectors . Laois needs everyone that is capable and interested involved.  It seldom happens.

😂 I was thinking Ballyroan or Ballylinan but the Bahamas would work too :)

Would be nice to see Offaly game played somewhere other than Portlaoise in December.

The emergence of Murphy from Port last year on the inter county scene can lessen the damage of Donie s absence .
There's no one in Laois capable of filling the boots of an on form Donie. Was unplayable on his day .

Where did I say Murphy was going to replace Donie s boots ?

The Sugrue departure has a left a sour taste among some of the players.  He had a great representation from Portlaoise the past two years . It will remain to be seem whether the same number will make themselves available.
I don't think Donie is committing this year .
Anyway onwards and upwards Division 2 will be a minefield especially for what's at stake .

I hear there is quite a few non committals going into the new campaign which is disappointing but understanding at the same time .

Didn't think Corbet offers much from general play.  Excellent free taker however .

I'm pretty sure he didn't.  Wasn't he contracted to Cork city ? Enjoyed a decent spell with Waterford Utd and then moved to Cork city . Talented chap .

Looking forward to attending the final today . From an outsider perspective there seems to be a mutual respect for each other which is nit always evident in club hurling .
Borris by 2 .

Gary Comerford from stradbally is a very stylish footballer.  If he committs to the GAA next year it will be a big boost to stradbally .
