ah that's absolute bullshit. He was 15 at the time. FFS.

On another note, RIP Tommy Lawrence, the flying pig. I think he was the keeper before Clemence.

Agreed completely - that's rubbish

Crazy. Some people have little to be at rather than trawling back six years to see what a young player posted on twitter when he was 15. Pathetic

RIP Tommy Lawrence

Genuinely lovely moment.

Saw that before. He had a little laugh to himself as soon as the reporter asked the question.
Good goalkeeper but capped only three times for Scotland, one versus the Republic.
Stalwart under Shankly with Ian St John and  Roger Hunt etc

Apparently Leipzig are willing to let Keita join in Jan for £13m..... Its a lot for  a cuptied player but if it helps secure Top 4 well worth it.

Also rumours of Ceballes from Real Madrid. Dont know much about him as he has not really featured for RM this year. No keepers being linked strongly which is surprising

Carra  ;D ;D ;D

Jamie Carragher had two big moments on Thursday — first, a meeting with the most expensive defender of all time and, secondly, a brutal demolition of a former on-pitch rival. The former Liverpool man uploaded a photograph of himself to Instagram alongside Virgil van Dijk, who joined the Anfield club at the start of the transfer window for £75million.

He was clearly excited by the meeting. Carragher revealed he had interviewed the giant Dutch defender for Sky Sports at the Melwood training ground.
But a comment from ex-Manchester United man Phil Neville could have dampened his spirits. Neville wrote, in response to the photo: 'U live at Liverpool's training ground Carra?'

It did not take long for Carragher to reply, and his response was particularly cutting.

'Always open arms for me here Philip, unlike you at Carrington after the f*** up you & Moyes caused!!!,' he said.

It will have come as a bitter blow for Neville, who was part of the coaching team during David Moyes's unsuccessful spell as United manager — a period that lasted less than a season. Van Dijk had the ideal start to his life as a Liverpool player, bagging the winning goal against Everton in the FA Cup third round on his debut. He faces a tough test in his second game. The Reds host undefeated Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

Daniel Sturridge has informed Jurgen Klopp of his desire to leave #LFC, and will get his move if Liverpool’s valuation of £30m is met.

Not a hope they get this  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
