Yup, right decision.

I think Westmeath are in a bit of a bind on that one, in so far as they have a reasonably good u20 side playing Dublin on Sunday, but also a must-win game v Offaly in the McDonagh on Saturday. What do they do?!

Does sitting on a train, travelling through a country but not setting foot on it, count?
Or transitting through an airport?

I'll leave out flying over its airspace!!

Gonna go out on a ledge here, and take Tyrone to beat Donegal by a couple. Armagh be too strong than Down but not he as much in it as people think.

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and...

Its mad the difference a year makes... we beat them by 1-5 at Ballybofey just last June
Despite us retaining Div 1 status we are going into this 2/1 outsiders and not fancied at all
I think if Con is fit, we have a real chance here. Few conundrums for management... I dont think we can afford to start both Canavans & McCurry - we need more output in the middle third. Joe Oguz & Ben Cullen should both come in to start. Leaving one of that 3 out, gives us a good attacking sub for the second half along with McShane
I think for the best part of the game drop off on their kick out's entirely. Donegal are coming in on a high, best to frustrate them early and it negates Pattons influence.  We have enough  pace and firepower to do well on the counter.
Lets not forget Derry got loads of attacks & shots away last week. They were also quite flat energy wise, and made some silly mistakes to literally gift goals. Donegal were far from flawless. I expect we will get plenty of opportunities - if we take a good share of them we will be in business

Given last weekends results you can never count a team out of the equation before a ball has been kicked.  Down are certainly improved on last year, but probably still a level below Armagh at the moment.

The Donegal/Tyrone game much harder to call, but hard not to see Donegal winning that either.

I'm not gonna come on here and start talking up Down, I'm calling it as I see it, they are shite and if we can't beat them we would be as well playing Tailteann. Obviously we'd like to think that players and management won't be complacent at all and come in 100% ready to win.
