Quote from: From the Bunker on April 06, 2024, 12:40:40 PMNo, I didn't see the earlier bit or know about it. Why have MDMA still there, if he had said his bit? I don't like Brolly, that my prerogative. He craves attention. His stories are renowned for the I was talking to such and such and that was the magic formula for winning the AI.
I understand you are from Derry and have a different perspective or Loyalty. And good for you!

The format of the Late Late is that the first guest stays on and plays a small part in the subsequent discussion. Brolly is a bit of  a windbag, but the format of the show was what you would expect.

The Cringe bit was that MDMA was the topic of the subsequent discussion.  ;D

Quote from: From the Bunker on April 06, 2024, 12:01:20 PMJust watched Brolly and MDMA on Youtube.

12 minutes of an interview. Interview dominated by Brolly, All bar a couple of seconds given to MDMA.

Told a couple of stories about MDMA - With MDMA giving him the That's not what really happened Stare.

Then there was the touchy feely stuff during all of this with Brolly. MDMA a guest who ended up an audience member. You can see at the end MDMA is anxious to get the f*** out of there. Cringe!

So you didn't bother watching the 10/15 mins before that where Paddy was talking to Michael Darragh on his own and in particular about his families experience with organ donation. Brolly was brought on as a guest along side Michael Darragh after that interview. But sure why let facts get in the way of the fact you need to let the rest of us know how much you dislike Brolly.

I'm no lover of Joe either and you are entitled to your opinion. It's the constant need for people to keep telling us all how much they don't like Brolly every time he pops up somewhere. Twitter is a classic case of that. And in this case, you went to YouTube and sat through 12 minutes of it letting it wreck your head. If he does that much turn it off or watch something else on YouTube. That's the bit I don't get!

It popped up on my Youtude algorithm on my TV. I had a look...and looked at something else afterwards.
If my opinions wreck your head then you can just ignore me, that's as easy to do as for me to not watch 12 minutes of the LLS.

Fair enough. Though I never said your opinions wreck my head. Re-read my post. You're entitled to one as much as the next person. It's the bit where people keep watching things they don't like and then give out about it. I don't understand that (but not in a way that wrecks my head 🤪). Context is everything on the original post.

What was the  point of that opening bit ? John Finucane, Fergal Mc Custer etc.  Same with  going to a Trinity with Gilroy? Why was  any of that relevant?

And I noticed  he still does the  arm across thing, when MDMA  contributed something  . Basically, shut up, I'm talking.

I was thinking exactly the same.

Yes, and you are totally correct on the context of the Video - I did not realise this and it changes a fair bit of the context. Peace

Gaaboard has gone soft.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Just watched it back there - think mdma probably thinks brolly a bit of a tool.

Entertaining show. Kielty is a likeable sort unlike his predecessor. Definitely a better fit for the show.

Not half. I've seen it all now - people admitting they are wrong rather than doubling down just doesn't seem right.

John Flynn getting the community spirit award was the highlight for me, but I really enjoyed the show overall.
That was a super Down minor team in 87. Was the basis of the 91 and 94 senior teams.

I'm surprised Joe is still peddling the Gilroy and MDMA boot story, when it was debunked.

I only spotted  James McCartan,  Conor Deegan and Michael Magill in that crowd

who else went on to play in 91/94?

Especially with the boy who it's about sitting beside him.

Yeah not overly many from that down minor team though I think it maybe showed them they could compete with the best of them too.
