Surely Trump is even more nailed on than before the assassination attempt.  He's a lucky man to still be here, a better shot and he was gone and all in the full glare of world media.  The US really is a dangerous place with so many guns readily available.  No doubt this will be spun as some sort of divine intervention ensuring the great one is still here to Make America Great Again.

It doesn't mean nothing. It may mean nothing, or it may be irrelevant - but it does not defacto mean nothing. More people are registered appropriately for their political beliefs than those who are erroneously registered. You are an anecdote - voter registration correlates far more directly than you would have folks believe.

His registration is at most 2 years old as well, it is much more common for voter registrations to change as they age.

It's potentially quite relevant.

A registered Republican into firearms. Not exactly a left leaning base. Clearly a mentally unfit individual who can get easy access to weapons of war. Mr. Trump thankfully was lucky. So many schoolchildren in America not as lucky. But that won't be the learning.
