The Tipp goal would have left them 8 points clear and game over so it was a big turning point whatever the ruling. Mayo will be very happy watching this game unfold, they will be heavy favourites to get to another All Ireland final.

Mayo would have been big favourites to beat Cork or Tipp.

And get pasted by Dublin subsequently

At least there will be no one there to see it!


Maybe we'll have a 100 year Anniversary final of Dublin and Tipp!

Good to see a boy who's put so much in over the years getting that win too.

Cork very poor there but Quinlivian, Sweeney etc are good footballers so not easy beaten. Limerick gave them a closer game than cork. Maybe Kerry are fourth in Munster now lol.

I woulnd't write them off against Mayo either. Tipperary have some sensational footballers.

Mayo will most likely struggle around the middle of the field, and at center back.
Overall Mayo have probably better footballers, but on the day that means little.
RTE will no doubt have a TIpperary lovefest for the next two weeks as their dream final for nostalgia would be Dublin V Tipperary.

Can't beat a underdog story like that it's what makes the sport great. Hopefully they follow up this win by shocking Mayo next to reach the All-Ireland final.

A real pity that no supporters are in attendance to witness such a historic victory. Ridiculous the extended Tipperary panelists can't be there today.
