I see he's made a grovelling and rather pathetic apology. The thing is he seems to have only apologised for the Jewish comment where, in my option, the sexist remarks he made were actually much more offensive.

Thanks for clarifying that. I now realise that the hospital was right.

For those who refuse to read the details of the case and continue to demand an answer to the question of "why was he refused treatment?", consider this.

The treatment the American doctor was proposing, and would have gone ahead with if allowed, had never been tested for the specific genetic mutation of Charlie's disease, which affected both both his muscles and brain. Not even on mice. It wouldn't have been treatment, it would have been a science experiment. One the treating physician would have a financial interest in.
I assume the parents logic was  if the child is going to die anyway, is this not worth a punt? What was there to lose?

In the US people see a guy with a big car and a big house on a hill and they say - one day I'm going to get that. In Ireland when people see  a guy with a big car and a big house on a hill and they say - one day I'm going to get that b**tard.
That's pure bollix. For a start does it mean that all US people admire and want to be like Dobald Trump?  I think not. For a second, does it mean that all Irish people who dislike Bonzo are out to get every successful Irish person? I know not. I dislike him but there's lots of successful Irish people I admire and want to be like.

I understand there was a fly past of Air Corps jets with green, white and orange smoke trails. Did he signal to them to go their separate ways as he used to do in his 'tricolour ripping up' era?

You're not wrong there. Not long back from Rome. Heat stifling. End May should be fine. You might want to consider Liguria, some lovely places there.

Furore. This might mean he'll be on sick leave for a week or two!
A number of Christmases ago there was a major issue following a thaw after a freezing cold spell. People were up in arms about the lack of action from the statutory agencies and Nolans telephone lines were red hot about it. He of course was on holiday. Come the 10.30 changeover Gerry Anderson remarked / Where's Nolan with all this going on?  Biggest show in the country?? Biggest bed in the country. Oh how we miss him

Sorry if this was answered before but is sky 5 available over in England?
Is it not in the GAA's interests to be promoting our game outside of Ireland as well.
A lot of ex pats would gladly pay to watch games live on sky I'd say.
I think that's the main goal with the Sky deal, or am I misunderstanding what you're asking?
A friend of mine mentioned a story about some West Indians who allegedly asked for a Sunday off work so that they could watch the 'Paddy Cricket'. Might be an urban myth but it would be great if it was true. Your previous post was hilarious by the way

Sky is shite for both viewing and for the promotion of the sport. Duffy sees the 11 million Euros a year they send over and wets himself with excitement and that's the only reason they are involved at all. The best hope to get rid of Sky is if they realise no one is watching and no one is buying their service for GAA coverage, it won't be a decision Duffy's "non-profit" Association will make themselves.

The sad part is so much of that money goes into warping the competitiveness of the championship and given it papers over the obvious cracks in declining viewership and attendance, it can hardly be seen as a net positive for the GAA.

The GAA looks like it needs a calamity to happen before real change will occur. And Dublin are well on the way to producing that.
As a matter of interest, what do you reckon Duffy is doing with the Sky money? I was of the opinion that this, along with all other income was reinvested in the organisation but perhaps I'm wrong and Duffy is maybe drinking it or something. Can you enlighten me please.

Right so how does one go about getting IPTV in?

I have an android box with Kodi installed although it Exodus and the likes don't seem to be working well at the minute.

You don't need Kodi for IPTV but it can be used with some. Most IPTVs I think run as an Android App, if you want I can PM you who I get my IPTV from.
PM me too please.

I can't see how there could even be 9,000 there. Ground I'd much less that half full.
