While there's no comparison (apart from both being very well and over paid), I still think it highly shocking that Turbridy gets dropped by RTE over the pay scandal and Nolan kept his job at BBC despite sending unsolicited, explicit images to staff.

Afaic Nolan was doing a spoof about a potential (controversial?)  interviewee, nobody in their right mind could interpret that image of obese Nolan in braces as explicit (implied sexually explicit). For sure Nolan is an ugly biased shock jock who gives unlimited platform to DUP et al primevalists. However that picture he sent out might be a lot of things but the last thing it is, is him sending a sexually explicit image of himself to the staff or even having the remote intention to do so.

The DUP haven't been on his show for a long long time as they're boycotting it

Some clarification needed. Is this simply a Sinead O'Connor appreciation thread?  If so then it should only contain positive comments about her and her music. If it's not then surely anyone is entitled to voice their opinions, whatever they might be, without others making insulting comments about them.

There's nothing I like more, after coming home from a night out, than watching the Self Aid Concert on YouTube. Highlights for me are In Tua Nua, Clannad, Cactus World News and Bagatelle.

At least 8 of the main characters in the film - George, John, George Martin, Billy Preston, Linda McCartney (who strangely didn't attend the rooftop show) Maureen Starr, Neil Aspinal and Mal Evans are no longer with us.

While I don't hold up with any of these conspiracy theories I do find it a bit strange that it's now taking them so long to go back. I think the current programme has a timeline of 2026. Surely they could have just dusted down Apollo 11 and used it in the meantime
