I'm sure there was uproar about this in the States, but from reading in-between the lines over here, was the case not a nailed on cert that he would be found guilty?
no uproar about it - the man committed the crime - he is guilty and has thrown his life and talent away - people are more concerned about their taxes (which got filed yesterday) and the presidential candidates...the Hockey playoffs and the summer coming
And the NBA playoffs which are about to start. Lot of interest in the Bay Area after the Dubs had a superb season. 1st time since the mid 70's that they have a genuine shot and a MVP candidate.

Of the only other nine teams who won 67 regular season games, seven won it all. GSW have been a mile ahead of everyone else over the course of the season and Curry is genuinely a threat from anywhere on offence. San Antonio, as always, have ratcheted up the pace since the break and might be the only team who could best them over seven but Wednesday's loss saw them drop from #2 in the West to #6 and a tricky first round outing with the Clippers.

My wish: that the Cavs make it to the final and that the Western Conference teams beat the living delights out of each other and have too little gas left to endure a 7-game series against Cleveland, but Cleveland sporting history . . . . . .

Really hoping the Warriors can do it. They have been head and shoulders above everyone this season. The record is even better considering they're in the west. Spurs have picked it up and can see them being a major threat to the Warriors chances. The whole team is a joy to watch when on song, esepecily curry. Some of the things he does are out of this world. Loved him putting Chris Paul on his ass in their recent game

I think Warriors, Cavs and Spurs are only trans with a shot. Memphis looked good initially but have fallen off a cliff recently. The spurs having a healthy Kawhi Leonard back could be the crucial difference maker. He's been sensational the last couple of months and when he's on song, he can guard anyone.

Watching the Ohio State spring game, and it appears to be a full house.  100,000 people at an intra-squad practice game.  Wow.

Official attendance now listed as 99,391

Cavs beat Celtics 113-100 in Game 1.  Cavs were dismal in the first half, played no defense, and fell behind by 8.

I guess the thing is that against the Celtics, they don't have to be. Boston are pretty much in the post season by accident having traded the Ghost of Rondo and Jeff Green. Of all teams in the East, only the Hawks, Cavs and Bulls would get near the playoffs in the West.

Can Chip Kelly find some use for him?

As someone who would keep a close enough eye on the Eagles, I cannot believe what Chip Kelly has been at this off season. Could prove to be a very sorry tale after two quite strong years which I thought they would build on.

I heard it might change its mind.

Cavs beat the Celtics 99-91 in Game 2. Now up 2-0 in the series.  Win all the sweeter after a condescending article that appeared in the Boston Globe by Dan Shaughnessy, one that laid into the city of Cleveland.
