Took part in the same 10k Screenexile done at the weekend.....54min 1 sec.....delighted....3 months ago i couldn't run 5km!

Now...having got the taste...i want to improve.

I had been running every other day, doing 4/5miles.

Any advice on how i should approach things now?

Gallagher was indeed awesome yesterday but fact he has missed a good chunk of games through injury, will rule him out.

What is the age limit on young player of the year? To me McHugh will get this if 22 isn't too old!

I wouldn't say Lacey has been nowhere near the level of last year, i just think others have stepped up to the mark. He was my MOTM yesterday. I don't think anyone would deny him the award if he got it

Other than McFaddens individual performance against Kerry, it has been very difficult to call the MOTM in each of Donegal's games. They easily have 4 or 5 competing each time.

Always sweet when a Northern team put manners on the great Kerry!

Especially when they overcome the usual bias of a Southern referee ;)

Back to the drawing board Jacky boy!!

I'm only after watching that video...fck me! I know it was club football, but he tormented defences and scored the same way at County level.

Amazing how many of them scores were with his left foot. He had everything, the wee f**ker!! ;D

Jesus lads there is no comparison!

I'll not even start to list the things Peter done better, but what made Canavan stand out for me, was his vision and ability to bring others into the game. Totally unselfish player, a team player.

In my opinion the Gooch is the only one since to have this attribute on top of being a deadly finisher.

I just wish Paddy B had it.

Good call on Jimmy Smyth

I actually think Adrian McGuckin would be perfect foil for him.

Lads, sorry for interrupting your discussion.

I had managed of late to do a little running on the treadmill. The legs have strengthened up and i feel i want to start doing some outdoor running.

Now due to injury, the knee's are dodgy to say the least, however i have realised its still possible to run without causing too much pain!

I could probably run 4/5km at this stage, but would like to progress to being able to do 10km (if possible!).

I was wondering if any of you more experienced runners could offer me some sort of training plan for getting me there.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think Dermot McBride will be a massive doubt also having picked up an injury again in a club game last week.

Agree with other Derry posters, hard to fathom how in under god we can beat Donegal.

In other years, you could always be optimistic about Derry producing one of their better days and causing a shock, however in my mind Donegal are playing a system that is now second nature to them. They are also ahead of Derry in terms of fitness and conditioning.

I think because of the way Donegal play it will be tight regardless. We must avoid the concession of any goals to stand any chance.

Did i read yesterday that Rory Kavanagh is a doubt? He would be a loss to Donegal.

Enjoyed this myself, though would like to see someone other than Marty Morrissey present it!

Why haven't RTE made an approach to bring Dara O'Cinneide on board? He should be presenting the Sunday Game also in my opinion.
