Lukaku has been a serious waste of money for Utd

Ah I f**king hate these comments.

Here's how United play against the rest of the top 6. They absolutely isolate Lukaku and provide no service to his feet, no through balls for him to chase into, no support for his knockdowns,  and no crosses for him to attack.

I don't care how much they paid for him. Today and all the other top 6 matches are not on him. It's simply not possible to be a matchwinner in these circumstances.

Try, just try to be rational about what you're watching.

I'll disagree with the both of yis

Lukaku's not been useless BUT the difference between really really good players and the rest is that they'll score from that one chance that comes their way in a tight game and from memory in both the Liverpool game and today he's had the chance to be the hero and if he takes them no one remembers anything else...

A bit unlucky today though, an auld dribbly one off his shin would probably have gone in but he caught it absolutely flush  :o

I'm not suggesting he's Gerd Muller. But it's truly unfair on a striker completely starved of service to then escalate any half chance he gets, into a gimme.

It's like blaming a woman when she gets raped.

Bit of ridiculous comment to make.

Boycey is right, what makes the best forwards the best is that they'll score from that one chance that comes their way in a tight game. Anyway it was Lukakus poor defending on both goals that cost his side more.

City are on a different level, 4 - 1 wouldn't have looked out of place.

Mourinho doing his Comical Ali post match interview.
DeGea only pulled off a few decent saves today last Sunday he was more worked. Ederson double save late on also earned City their deserved win. Mourinho thinks United should have got a penalty it didn't look like a penalty to me but i have seen them given before.

Two poorly defended set piece goals is what won that game for City. Lukaku had a derby nightmare the sitter he missed summed up his day.

Thats two goals that Lukaku has gifted to Man City today. DeGea unlike last Sunday under worked but find themselves behind and will likely lose.

All of the possession for Man City but i don't see where they should be 3 or 4-0 ahead? The Sane chance before the goal was Man Citys only decent goal scoring opportunity and the goal was error in defence.

Man City error in defence allows United to level it up at half time.

Corofin game off.

Costly postponement for Corofin, you'd hope the costs for the refixture will be covered by the GAA.
Or play the rescheduled fixture in Galway?

Silly from Lovren. Liverpool didn't create the same amount of clear cut chances today as other games. If Firmino,Coutinho started Liverpool would have created more and won that game i feel.

For the record Italia 90 is a great moment but as an achievement it sucked, we didn't win one game.

Or you could say ROI reached the Quarter final without losing a game eventually going down to the hosts by the narrowest of margins. To reach the last in 8 in your first ever World cup will considered by most as fine achievement.

Reframe it how you want but considering winning is the only barometer of success, by the majority on this board, so not winning any of 5 games is quite frankly shit and should not be celebrated as success.

You can win the world cup without winning a game and how long before ROI are seen in another World cup Quarter final? Quite frankly shit to me and i'm sure many others would be Euro 2012 when Ireland were well beaten in each group game.

The league has been on going since October UL v UCC the final set for next month. St Marys lost every league game while NUIG were showing very well until UCC knocked them out at the semi final stage.

Dunphy just now on RTE.
Liverpool fans are knowledgeable and have a connection with their club unlike say Man United fans..
Lol.

United have plenty of morons as fans with a good few on here. Probably not tonight though as they only appear when Liverpool get beat.

However this is just a typical bullshit comment by Dunphy designed to get some controversy going  and some air time for him.   United are no different to the other big clubs in this respect. Dunphy is just an attention seeking bollox

Joe Brolly,Eamon Dunphy and George Hook basically its RTE gimmick to have a sports pundit like that.
