Anyone else fancy a go?

Looks fairly sensible.

Cork always seem to be talked up at this time of year only to come up short in the later stages though.

I'd have Tyrone and Kerry only as front runners.

Yeah I'd agree here. bump Cork down a step and I think that'd be it. Cork haven't beaten Kerry or Tyrone in Croker in God knows how long. I think until a team does that they have to be excluded from the top tier. The last team to do that was Armagh I reckon but they have fallen back.

Surprised with where you have placed Antrim.

Realistic chasers I reckon.

I'm actually optimistic of Antrim beating Donegal.

I wouldn't write Donegal off just yet, league performance was poor, but we were also hindered by alot of injuries, with a full squad and a wee bit of self belief then I see an Ulster final (only to be beaten by Derry) and poss another quarter final (eventually being knocked out by the All Ireland Champions)..
Tbc....

The reason I say this is because I think as a team Donegal seem to have went backwords quite a bit and Antrim have really come on leaps and bounds under Bradley, he is asute manager after leading his club to the Derry final 2 years ago. Antrim do have some fine players and if they had CJ Mc Gorty back in the fold they could do serious damage. I just think Donegal might under estimate them and could be in for a shock. This bu no means makes Antrim better than Donegal but the Saffrons are going through a purple match which could last until the championship. Last year very few would have tipped Fermanagh to beat Monaghan or Derry but they did, they are a fairly average team but when you have a good gameplan in place you can beat anyone on a given day like Fermanagh showed last year.

I think Monaghan are a team that have come close this last few years and are capable of winning Sam. Obviously Tyrone and Kerry are the front runners, but agree Derry, Galway will be in the final shake up also.
Everybody knows there no sucha thing as Sanity Clause.

You sholud have Meath and Kildare in that group especially if you have Donegal and Limerick.

the scenic route

Front Runners
Tyrone (nap)
Kerry (nb)
Cork (frustrating need a year without choking when they get to Croke Park)
Galway (build on last year and just try stopping meehan)

Realistic Chasers
Monaghen (potential needs to be realised)
Dublin (promise alot peak when they are still in leinster and frustrate yet again)
Mayo (promise alot but will frustrate)
Derry (promise alot but will frustrate)

Still a hell of alot to do

Meath (depends which Meath shows up)
Armagh (If they play tyrone in croke park they will be destroyed on the big pitch, back door run to the quarter finals at best, and thats onyl if draws kind to them)
Donegal (disciplijne problems)
Down (see above)
Wexford
Kildare

Wont make an impact but might case an upset

Fermanagh (good for one scalp)
Laois
Westmeath
Tipp
Sligo
Antrim (need to get everyone going in same direction Re: McGourty brothers)
Cavan
Limerick
Louth (remember they took tyrone to a replay and extra time)

Agree with yours the senic route. However Monaghan have everything going for them bar the size of their panel, if they get a couple of main players injured who are they going to bring on? They will go far as ling as their players can remain unscathed.

corn02

Amazing that Armagh have dropped so fast in peoples' minds.
