And Reina? Possibly one of the best shot stoppers in the Premiership but nowhere near the top 3 as far as keepers go! Surely Van der Saar or Howard should be there before him

Maybe he hasn't had a great season this year, but he is clearly one of the best strikers in the league.

ok lads some members of the squad may be a bit dubious. perhaps the likes of carvalho should be included but as a liverpool fan i could be biased a bit. To be honest I don't see too much of Chelsea because I really don't enjoy watching them.

Reina, in my opinion deserves to be up there. The mistakes he has made in the last 3 years can be counted on one hand. I think he is suffering a wee bit here because of his poor showing against man u but other than that he has been excellent. I also think he possesses an attribute which few others do in that he has great kicking ability. he is easily the best in the league at dealing with back passes and starting attacks. always calm and assured under pressure. something which is very important in the modern game.

That's hardly obvious. I've seen Van Der Sar screw up on a few crosses this season - he probably should have prevented Arsenal's goal today. And if Howard were that great, Ferguson would hardly have moved him on, would he? Didn't his form dip big-time in his second season at United, before he was shipped out on loan?

Anyway, I doubt if there are many (or even any) Liverpool supporters who would want to swap Reina for either of those two.

Liverpool have plenty of problems. Reina is not one of them.
