How many are we expecting to attend this game?

3,000?
I've no idea but I'm sure will be substantial.

Martin Conroy the man in the middle

Aaron Boone

Most people I know with even a passing GAA acquaintance are intending to be at this game.

Who cares both will be in D2 next year

Rumour going around that 6 referee's turned the game down. Can't fault them to be fair having to listen to Clonoe fans on the sideline, Hopefully they get relegated twice because I couldn't be bothered listening to them next year in intermediate again

GaaGPT

Do we expect clonoe/coalisland to walk D2 like clonoe did last year?

Based on what I've seen of the Intermediate championship this year then yes. Only issue Coalisland would have is potentially the starred games missing 4 county players but I would be very surprised if it wasn't a walk in the park for either in the league anyway. You never know in championship football as Clonoe found out in 2023.

League wise they should find it trickier than Clonoe because of the starred games but then again they would be playing Derrylaughan without Kennedy, Owen Roes without McShane and any other potential call ups. If McNally, Kane, Kerr were to retire and not play it would become that bit tougher again. So may not be completely straight forward.
Championship wise they would go in as favourites but there would be nothing straight forward for them if they come up against Eglish, Aghyaran, Moortown, Greencastle, Moy or Derrylaughan.
Longer term Coalisland and Clonoe might spend a few years in Intermediate between going up and down and potentially eventually staying down. Youth isn't at a high level and both have a lot of aging players.

With Eglish in Intermediate and with McGleenan back next year and good youth coming through there's no guarantee Coalisland would win Intermediate if they went down.

As for the relegation playoff tomorrow not surprised to hear that some referees have turned it down. If I was a referee I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Would youse not take an Armagh ref? There are a couple of Tyrone refs reffing in Armagh

Driving through Omagh this morning, seen Conall 'Rafa' McCann - or maybe it was Flanagan? Anyway he was playing Tennis on the clays down by Dunnes with a pair of Ski Goggles on.

He has a new found passion for the small ball after nearly taking poor Colhoun's teeth out last week with The Peoples Elbow. Can you smell what the Rock is serving?
