It was superb. For all the Peter Kay hype, Bishop just kicked him all around Belfast and back across the Odyssey stage in terms of entertainment.

I thought he wasn't bad but and it was a big but I thought a lot of his material was just a rehash of other comedians stuff. Me and my friend who would go to practically every comedy event in Belfast kept turning round to each other and saying remember when such and such did that joke.

I also thought the first half was much much better than the second. That said not a bad nights craic

I go to comedy nights on a semi-regularly basis and would definitely rate John up there with the best I've seen. Absolutely hilarious.

Hoof Hearted, forgive me if I looked a little stressed when chatting to you. Nothing to so with you being a Derry, though that help. The arse of my chair collapsed and I was holding onto the wheelchair for dear life.

Is he the guy that does the one liners? He is f**king hilarious, but I am not sure if I can stand 90 minutes of him.

Caught up with a few of Stewart Lee's shows on BBC 2. Quality stuff. I've only of his DVDs on iPod form. Great stuff.
