Big fan of Sean Lock, went retrospective on him & bought 15 Storeys High, a BBC comedy from early noughties. Very good, cost about £6 on Amazon for series 1&2, bargain!

Is he indeed, he doesn't play up his paddyness, thought  there had to be some somewhere in him.

Richard Pryor on Dave tonight at 10.00. I've never seen his stand up so I  hope he is as good as they say he is.
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

Good show on BBC2 about Dave Allen - definitely one of the best.

I'm really liking Micky Flanagan at the moment. A cockney if ever there was one.

Saw that programme on the BBC iPlayer during the week. Fantastic comedian. I often wondered why his programmes were never repeated, now I know.

Watched Peter Kay's 'Tour that didn't tour - tour' at the weekend. Pretty poor to be honest.

Havent seen it but his comedy seems to have been very in the here and now and to me it seems like he hasnt been able to move with it. Very funny guy but some of his stuff appears really dated now.

omagh_gael

Exactly. He rehased loads of his jokes e.g. Fine rain that soaks you through etc. but never had me laughing out loads. Kept waiting for it to really take off but it never materialised.

Heading to the Edinburgh Festival in August.  Have a ticket for Tim Vine and now checking who else is on.  should be a great weekend.

About as funny as a kick to the balls.
