Title: Farewell Terry Kearns, Meath legend
Post by: Hardy on October 16, 2020, 05:59:26 PM
Terry left us in body yesterday but he lives forever among Meath GAA people as the man whose goal won the 1967 All-Ireland Final. His standing outside the world of football, as a gentleman, gentle man, friend and neighbour is just as great.

Amen to all that. I remember him well and he was as good a role model as one could find.

Very sad indeed. One of the key players for Vincent's glory days at senior level. We haven't had a county player at senior level since I think. Great player by all accounts and a gent off the field.
