Quote from: Blowitupref on May 06, 2024, 07:16:44 PMAll Ireland B semi finals are on this weekend also.  inaugural staging of that competition

This Saturday
Westmeath v Limerick in Semple Stadium, Thurles at 1pm

On Sunday
Down v Mayo in Breffni park at 1pm

Embarrassing that Mayo were let into that competition. There are plenty of weaker counties that this competition would mean more to.

Down are also in it, after winning 2 of last 3 Ulsters. It gives players more game time. I think that's the objective here. Down drew with Tyrone and should've beat them in group. But have had a few poor outings so are where they deserve to be.

Mount was dreadful as per usual. I said when utd bought him it was a waste of money. He couldn't get in a terrible Chelsea team last season. City will win the Cup final with ease, it could be 6 or 7 nil. These guys have no heart or desire.

Quote from: Captain Obvious on Today at 12:14:14 AMIf the odds are to be believed the Irish song "Doomsday Blue" by Bambie Thug will sail into the final as is currently 5th to win it out.

1st and 2nd favourties to win and both better songs than the Irish one IMO.

Whose is it to lose though?
Ireland finished 1st in press poll and 2nd in audience poll so it should do very well this year

Quote from: illdecide on May 05, 2024, 08:43:52 PMI think a lot of you need to think more carefully about calling these so called people "Fans". I'm from Lurgan and it pisses me off a bit when people come on here and just post up "Lurgan people are scumbags". These people you are talking about come from everywhere and don't care what the attraction is, they're there for the party and couldn't name you 3 players. The real fans are there for majority of the games home and away through thick and thin and thousands come from Lurgan to support Armagh.
I see drunken fans at every game from every County so no crap about being far away to travel/size of town nonsense or whatever else was posted, the fact is the further in the Championship you go the more idiots you get unfortunately. The All Ireland final will sort that out as tickets are so hard to get and there'll be no Lurgan ones drunk at that either.

they're best ignored mate. Thing is, a lot of people giving off about people being drunk at games will ave been drunk at games in their youth.
