Massive effort and huge shift put in, pitch seemed heavy. Slowed things down a bit
Cargin unlucky on some shot selections some frees going against them also
Wasn't pretty but tense
Was pretty tense
Although beaten Cargin can stand tall as some said a few chances (Poor shot selections) were missed our lads came close and raised the Saffron profile.
Those who took the ridiculous 1/12 odds offered would need to have brought a change of underwear to Healey Pk.
Took the 1/1 with a seven point start which was a insult.
Despite the profile Glen are no big deal and our boys will realise they missed a great opportunity.....and saying naught about the stand in ref.......

Mad. In the hour and a half since posting the news of the first British Soldier to be convicted since the GFA (one of only handful of them to have ever been convicted in relation to a killing here), and given the high profile nature of the case, and the fact that Aidan was a GAA man, you'd have thought this news might have seen a bit of discussion/reaction
Just one day after the British Government took it's latest step towards bringing in a blanket amnesty for all it's security force personnel, it seems (if the last hour and a half's activity is anything to go by) that gaaboarders are still more concerned about a week old story where some drunk woman said 'up the ra' to Arlene Foster.

Were Canada done out of a 2nd penalty shortly after the first?

Mad isn't it.
Germany, Spain, France, Brazil - who between them have won 7 out of the last 8 world cups - haven't yet kicked a ball. Serious football teams like Portugal, Belgium, Uruguay haven't yet kicked a ball.
But here it's England's to lose.
If Germany, Spain, France, Brazil was near the quality that they were when winning those tournaments you might have a decent argument.
Portugal are nothing serious going by their recent matches against a very average Irish team.
