10 team leagues make for good drafts. Everyone should feel they have a decent team at the end of it as well. Capt. Pat's Vikings would be some offense in real life. When you see Shiancoe going in the 19th round it shows you what a 10 team draft can do. That was the 187th pick. Last year I'd say Shiancoe went in the 6th or 7th round.

AZ Offaly - Sent you a PM enquiry about my team.

Missed 1st round and got AP in the default. Cant believe 8 RBs went in 1st round.
I wasnt going to pick one until the 3rd round at least.

They certainly wouldn't be pounding it up the middle!

Best drafts for me would be:
Hitmen, Turfmen, Capt Pat's, Rehab, Craigyhill.......
I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight

After looking over all teams I don't see any one team running away with the title. One team maybe stacked at rb or wr but not qb, te or vice versa. The ten team limit is ideal in that every team is competitive and there are enough players to be picked up off of waivers due to injuries or suspension.

On a side note, based on this draft it does look like most owners have a grasp for players and their position needs compared to drafts from just a couple of years ago. Should make for a competitive and fun season as long as everyone participates.

Hitmen to win it all  ;)

AZ,

On waiver wire pickups, I think it should be locked again like last year so those of us State side don't vulture the wire while your side is sleeping. Tuesday night at 6pm (Irish time) would be the best time after the Monday Night Game. This would give people stateside and people getting home from work time to hit the computer.

I'd agree with you almost totally. The only things I'm unhappy about are that I didn't get an elite QB (thought they went too early), and that I didn't get a quality backup for Gates (a TE will show up at some stage).

Why do you think that Mcgrens?
Last year top 10 points scorers were 5 X QB's 4 X WRs and 1 X RB
This year its projected that it will be similar  5 X QBs 3 X WRs and 2 X RBs
Great pick on Gates at 31 by the way. He is projected to be 14th overall.

How long before Vick gets injured? :) I'm not worried though because I have the great Kevin Kolb as backup"!

I just didnt like the value that I was getting when x QB came to me. I think, without checking, that 30/31 when I picked  5 of the 6 elite QBs had gone, and I'm very wary of Manning's injury. Then I was getting ready to pick Shaub but he got snatched away by Capt Pat. Which was a surprise. I thought I was nailed on, as everyone had a QB by then and I'd rate Schaub 7th on my board and was getting him 11th or 10th among QBs.

I had planned to go for Ryan grant in pick 6 as I felt he'd drop to me there and I could strengthen WR and take a TE early, which is worth it if you can get Clark, Witten, or Gates. I'm happy with my receivers- Welker at pick 6 was a change since I didn't get Schaub, and represents great value in a PPR.
