Quote from: Armamike on April 15, 2024, 10:21:14 AMLiverpool have been wasteful all season given the amount of chances created.  The stats show the conversion rate is around 10th in the league.  But it's gone to new levels in the past 3 or 4 games. It's probably got into the players' heads now. Would like to see young Danns get a start or at least a chance to come on in the remaining games. The current front 3 don't deserve a start.  Unless he's carrying an injury or still recovering from injury, Salah looks done.  If he's not able to contribute anything during the crunch stage of the season then it is time to move him on.

100%

If there's one trait with Liverpool it's the finishing. It's been a problem for a while and I hate to be critical but we haven't spent wisely to fix the problem. Darwin,Gapko and Dias are all over the place in front of goals. Salah has been bad since injury which renders them toothless up front. Jesus I am starting to wish we held on to solanke now looking at his season.

Quote from: J70 on April 14, 2024, 06:28:52 PMIt's f**king depressing. Year after year Petrostate FC sweeping up all around them.

Teams with the most money buy the best players.

When has it ever been any different?

Not in my lifetime.

City have been spending above the budget cap and cooking the books to hide it. Their accounting and law department is bigger than the FA complete administrative organisation.
Would have been nice for another club to win PL but I'm hoping Liverpool can finish second for moral bragging rights if nothing else. On another subject I think Villa are doing a fantastic job this year and making the three above them look silly like Watkins is only one goal off PL top scorer.

If Hamas had butchered tens of thousands of women and children on their way to defending GaZa then they are the ones who should be in front of the I.C.J.  maybe if they had the capacity to do so they might but they haven't. Because Isreal couldn't even tell the truth about Oct 7th we don't know what they did. Is it even possible to separate Hamas from the republican movement here before the GFA. You back any animal ( including humans) into a corner they are going to bite you. There is one oppressor here and it isn't Hamas regardless of their disgraceful behaviour on the 7th.

A sheep farmer I know is in middle of lambing. He put the new lambs out as he always does and found three dead yesterday morning. He brought them all in again as it's just to cold for them. It's Baltic up here.

Quote from: RedHand88 on March 28, 2024, 09:14:25 AMAnother pisher of a day. Gives it bad for the Easter weekend too.

2 degrees up here in north Antrim has me wondering. Why is the global warning phenomenon avoiding Dunloy. Is it to early to start on the swimming pool I've been planning since the Greta Thunberg enlightenment.

Quote from: imtommygunn on March 25, 2024, 11:06:33 AMYes there's plenty of madness in the private sector too tbh. Every time you think you can't see worse you do... cronyism etc rampant in private or public.

Quote from: RedHand88 on March 22, 2024, 11:39:05 AMMy car insurance coming in at more or less the exact same as last year (Admiral). Who are people with that are doubling or trebling it?

https://bdsmovement.net/axa-divest

My insurance nearly doubled last August with no claims. So I went hunting and got a deal from AXA and have now changed from them to a more expensive company since AXA invest in Isreal banks that lends to new settlements. Car insurance has gone up and my house insurance went up 30% this year to.

Is there a list of companies that invest in Israeli banks?

Get them up

Quote from: balladmaker on March 22, 2024, 11:44:13 AMNI rates and how they are calculated is my go to complaint every time ... just because value of the house is higher does not indicate an increased use of council services, nor does it reflect on the occupants ability to pay the inflated rates charge as a result.

100%
And anyone chiming in saying it's to cover the increase in wages of the public workforce is delusional. Even for the civil service sector it's a dysfunctional mess. My rates are higher than my fuel bill.

Quote from: Ghost on March 17, 2024, 06:33:29 PMShould Klopp have taken Salah off? Was it over confidence or do his minutes need managed? Genuine question. I know when it went 2-2 I was glad he was off.

Salah was poor
He gave the ball
Away and wrong decisions galore, having said that when I seen gapko coming on I thought "well that's even worse"

Quote from: From the Bunker on March 17, 2024, 06:23:18 PMWell done to United! They stuck in there. There will be a few sore head in Manchester and beyond tomorrow.

Liverpool's luck ran out and drive ran out.

Luck nothing to do with it. Man U where their for the taking and Liverpool where flaffing about waiting for something to happen. Maybe it will teach them going forward that going one up is nothing unless you push on.

Fully deserved
Liverpool where brutal
Even the equaliser was a jammy deflection
Man U deserved it
