I was cutting the grass today and an obscure name popped into my head for some reason and it made me laugh out loud given it's randomness. It has been at least a quarter century since I thought of this guy and why his name came to me I have no idea why it did.

the guys name................................................................

Keith chegwin!   :D

This is worrying Stew. Were you cutting the grass naked?

Pints,

Why would a ref want to make a name for himself? Where's thar gonna get him.

Can you define a "poke in the belly"?
well I dont know orior, why would a ref make all he could out of a poke in the belly or push (at the very most) and report being struck?

The only things I know about incident is what I've read here. But surely this sort of thing can be avoided by not having any physical contact with the ref?

198-5 innings over.

10 per over for the Irish to get... wee buns.

No chance.

The Shore side (i.e. the father's side and his father etc) was looked at and as soon as we discovered the Shores had Cavan links we called a halt to proceedings in case Westmeath links were also discovered.

There is only so much one could take.

1911 census data for Limerick, Mayo, Waterford, Armagh, Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Fermanagh, Kildare, Kilkenny and Leitrim to be online mid July.

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/about/futureplans.html

Apparently, and I heard this from a trusted government source, Derry census data will be available though the Department of Agriculture.

I assume that the billboard has been photo-shopped. What did it say originally?

Can we use this thread to discuss obscene amounts of money being spent on soccer players in the midst of a recession and lack of funding to key services such as health, edumacation, and legalising the sex industry. Note to self - delete the last bit.

Confuse garage attendants by filling up your car with petrol, drive home, change shirt, then drive your wifes car down to same garage. Ask the attendant "was my twin brother in earlier?".

If the response is "oh yeah" then reply "oh I hate him - he's really good looking, has loads of money, but still passes counterfeit money".

This has worked several times pour moi.

My advice would be to forget about the science and just go out and enjoy the run. However..

1) Set a target time for half way and try to be quicker on the return.

2) Start noting your times.

3) Vary the runs, and the terrain.

4) Call over to the Cavehill and I'll race you up and over. Dont worry, my neighbour is a paramedic.

5) When you pass any women, hold your belly in, smile and breath easy.... till you get past them.

Still with the 'trends' and wild extrapolations i see, ffs over 2 and a half thousand of TUVs transfers went to the SDLP, what nonsense can you read into that for instance  ???

Strange indeed. The 2.5k either
a) registered it as a protest at the swish Family Robinson
b) are plain stupid

I reckon its (b).
