Could this be Harrington's best chance so far, he always seems to perform at this tournament. Fancy Els myself.

We can only live in hope re: Harrington. Don't have any preference other than that save that Tiger or Mickelson don't win. Having a gawk at PP, title holder Geoff Ogilivy looks good value at 40/1, while Furyk (16), Singh (14) and Adam Scott (22) will all have their backers. Carl Petterson (at 200/1) is a solid enough competitor in America and could be a good dark horse wager.

scott is worth a few bob each way imo has been playing well lately and is overdue a win. dont forget goosen either...

This is Harringtons big chance. He has the game to win it and with 4 top tens in last 7 US opens he has been there or thereabouts.
Its a fearsome course with a 288yard par 3 and a 677yard par 5..  :o
Els won here last time on +5 (I think) and many experts are predicting even higher this year.
Harrington for me as the main bet.
Ogilivy and The goose as back up

ONeill

Thank feck Clarke isn't playing. I reckon he has cost me 4 (majors) X 10 (quid) X 15 (years).
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

If I had the money to bet which I most defientely do not. I would have twenty on Furyk each way. 16/1 is a good price for the local. McDowell is coming off a good tournament and I would not be surprised if he finished in the top 20.

I am going to back five hundred to one shots or more, this course is a disgrace and plus seven will win it, anyone can win this, whoever makes the top twenty five in driving accuracy and putting has a great chance, cue Montgomery and Furyck.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Is there anywhere on the net you can watch the coverage or can you just get the live updates?

Had Fuyrk each way can't believe he used the driver at 17 when sharing the lead, suicidal. Exciting finale, Woods needs a savage second shot here to get to the playoff.

By the way Play Off is not the standard back to the 18th, it takes place tomorrow and yes it is 18 holes.
