So why has this game been postponed ?
Fermanagh were told last they they could either field or lose the points and they had alot more than 3 confirmed positive cases.
The defeat got us relegated from division 2.

Might as well get this started .

I pray it is not a repeat of the first 25 minutes at the same stage in 2008.
Nothing , and I mean nothing, has been as bad as that

I am heading away for a few days days holiday on Thursday.
I managed to get a good deal but I am flying out of Belfast City a.m but flying back into Dublin late on the following Tuesday .  There is a bus running from Dublin that will get me back up to Belfast for about 1 or 2 depending if the flight is on time. 
Plan was to park the car up in the City, get the bus out to the airport and then obviously collect the car when I get back to Belfast.
Could anybody suggest somewhere to park the car?
I was looking at the likes of McCausland, etc but they all seem to close at 11 p.m which obviously wouldn't suit. 

Well the ulster championship kicks off next Sunday with the glamour tie of the preliminary  round.

Antrim will be buoyed by their promotion to division 4. The have a lot of men back and will fancy their chances of causing an upset in Brewer.

Fermanagh had a good league campaign but have been hit by some injuries to key players. McCluskey is definitely out and Eoin Donnelly and Che Cullen must be rated as extremely doubtful.
The loss of probably the best midfielder in ulster at the moment and our full back would be a big blow to Fermanagh but I would still expect us to come through by a couple of points.

Looking forward to an entertaining game after both teams scored heavily in the last round.
Cavan seem to have found their attacking verve the last 2 games and can now rightly be called the Brazil of Ulster football.

Fermanagh are unbeaten at fortress Brewster in over 2 years and will be looking to push on after a very encouraging display against Laois without Sean Quigley.

Winners of this game will be thinking about a shot at promotion.
Losers will be looking over their shoulders nervously.

The only non televised game this year in Ulster.
Can't see their being anymore than 5000 at the game.
Fermanagh will go into the game as strong favourites but that was the same as last year and we got caught cold.
Fermanagh never deal with being favourites well and I expect this game will be a lot closer then people predict.
Fermanagh seem to have a clean bill of health with the exception of Fermanagh captain and midfielder Eoin Donnelly who I would think at this stage will not play.

Antrim arguably had a better league campaign than last year and were right in the promotion equation until the last game.
CJ has been scoring heavy but they have also had a few withdrawals from the panel as well.

Fermanagh should win this but then again I thought that last year.
We have had a good year so far and we need to win on Sunday.
It's been a while since we won an ulster championship game.

Meeting a friend up this afternoon in dunshaughlin and then driving into Dublin.
Is there anywhere I could leave the car in dunshaughlin that would be handy to the motorway?

The aim of this thread is to highlight the mess that is club league and championship fixtures across all counties.

If your counties CCC/county management has called of or rearranged rounds of league fixtures for any reason at all post it up on here. 

I will begin.

Fermanagh CCC have called off all senior football league games scheduled for Wednesday 30th of April at the request of county management.

Peter McGrath has just been announced as the new Fermanagh football manager.

Peter Canavan has stepped down as Fermangh senior manager at tonight's county board meeting.

A GLAMOUR friendly football match between Fermanagh and Mayo senior teams, to take place on Saturday May 4 in Brewster Park, is being held to raise money for a very special little boy.

The pre-championship friendly, dubbed 'Playing for Sam', is in aid of the 'Sam Bradley Care Fund', a charity set up to raise funds to help fund the treatment and care of 21 month old Sam Bradley from Belnaleck.

Sam is the elder son of Fermanagh Herald Sports Editor, and former Fermanagh player, Colm Bradley, and is currently undergoing treatment for a rare and aggressive cancer.

Sam was diagnosed shortly after Christmas with high risk neuroblastoma and is currently undergoing intensive treatment in the Royal Victoria Children's Hospital in Belfast. Although he has responded well to the first part of a six phase treatment plan, there is a possibility that some of his care will have to take place outside of Ireland.

The Bradleys, who reside in Belnaleck, have temporarily moved to Belfast as Sam faces prolonged periods of time in hospital over the coming year, with the possibility that he may have to go abroad for the end of his treatment, at a considerable cost.

Sam's family has set up a campaign, 'Together for Sam' to help raise funds for Sam's ongoing care and potential treatment abroad.

Less than 15 children across the country are diagnosed with Neuroblastoma each year, with some of the most cutting edge treatment only available in Ireland and Europe on a clinical trial basis.

When the teams take to the field on May 4, Sam will be recovering from eight hour surgery to remove a tumour from his right kidney.

"He has been so brave," explained Sam's father, Colm "He has had six cycles of chemotherapy in 60 days and has bounced back so well. The surgery is the second phase in a six phase treatment plan before more chemo, radiation and then immunotherapy.

"He has been through a lot but he just keeps smiling and refuses to let anything keep him down."

As part of Sam's treatment is only available in Europe on a clinical trial basis, there is a possibility that complications would mean Sam may not qualify for some of the potentially life saving drugs."

FUND-RAISING

One of the first of the fund-raising events is a cooking demonstration by Neven Maguire in Sam's mother, Michelle's, home town of Kiltimagh. Michelle works with Neven in his award winning MacNean House and Restaurant in Blacklion.

The cookery demonstration will be held in the Park Hotel, Kiltimagh on Wednesday, May 1. 'Cooking for Sam' will also have an added element of glamour, with the event being compered by television personality and nation's favourite, Anne Doyle.

If, as the family hope, he can get all his treatment in Ireland, then a number of children's cancer charities will benefit from the fund-raising efforts.

Can i extend my sympathies to the family and friends of Brian Og Maguire who has passed away this morning in a tragic accident.
Brian was a member of the Lisnaskea Emmett's club,  was captain when they won the Intermediate Club All-Ireland and was a key member of the team that has reached this years Fermanagh senior championship final.
He was also a current member of the Fermanagh senior football team.

GAA fans attacked in Kesh

CARS bringing jubilant Donegal GAA supporters back home last Sunday following their victory over Cork, were pelted with eggs hurled by youths in the main street of Kesh.
One young mother from Pettigo contacted the Herald to express her annoyance at an attack on two cars carrying her friends.
She herself was at the game and had travelled without incident through Kesh in a minibus at about 10.15 on Sunday night, shortly before her friends' cars were pelted with eggs thrown by 'a group of yobs in main street.
"They were in a string of cars going through. There were 44,000 from Donegal at the match, so you can imagine the queue going through. This is the main thoroughfare for people from Donegal town, the Rosses, Killybegs and, nearer home, Laghey and Pettigo.
"It was extremely upsetting for children to witness such an unwarranted show of abuse, especially as we all thought times had changed.
"I along with most people from Pettigo frequent Kesh on a regular basis, be it for shopping or eating. Thankfully, it is only a sad minority, and I know the majority of Kesh dwellers would frown at such a thing; but can someone please explain why this venom is still expressed to this day, 'cause I can't understand it.
"It is very intimidating, especially for the children, and their parents then have to explain to them why this is happening. I just think it's very sad."
She said she would not be opting for an alternative route home come 23rd September when Donegal play in the All-Ireland final.
"I will still go back through Kesh. We are only five miles away. We are all for peace and this is what you're up against. It is awful that people can't go on, un-noticed. OK, there could be another way home, but why should I let yobs deter me?"

Lads/Lassies,
                     I have a job interview on Tuesday and the first part of the process is an unseen presentation. 
I am to be given a topic when i arrive at interview. I have 20 minutes preparation time and i can use whatever material i want in the preparation time.  I then have to give a maximum of 6 minute presentation to the interview panel but the only thing  i can take into the interview are the notes i have made in my preparation time.

Anybody been through this sort of thing before and any tips??

Is anybody using it or producing it in Ireland??
