As somebody from the Fintona area but not connected to the club, I'm just as embarrassed and outraged by the videos of players/management/parents surrounding the referee as I am about the other incident. Who in their right mind would want to be a referee in the current climate?

The worrying thing about today is that most people I've spoken to has started off the conversation by saying 'the ref was poor' or 'the referee gave Fintona nothing' as if to try and half justify what was going on at the final whistle - the completely wrong attitude. If any of my children approached a referee like some of the players did last night, I'd be putting a ban on them myself, never mind about the county board. Parents need to step up and do better.

I seen this Fintona under 16 team first hand a few weeks ago when they beat us in championship first round, they have some great players but unfortunately for them they had some players who verbally were not behind the door one in particular who was in the video I seen last night abusing the ref leaving the field, they also had a linesman who did not cover himself in glory either Not overly surprised they ended in a mess!! Just surprised in the mannner of the mess!!

On another subject (lets change focus)

i see Eglish u16s claimed the Grade2 league and championship double at a canter last nite
how was this allowed to happen..its a disgrace that a team that won the Ulster Og Sport u15 last year were allowed to drop into grade 2 and a bigger disappointment that the Eglish club allowed/wanted it to happen

Donaghmore dropping into Grade2 u14s is another example

they did it at minor a few years ago also

Surely the CCC need to stop this sort of stuff happening

Donaghmore have been doing this for years. They will never learn

County youth Fixtures committee keep accommodating this type of thing! How Donaghmore in particular keep getting away with this I will never know..

After Tyrone's win what does this mean for club football?

no fixtures next weekend as it sits if Tyrone keep winning now games to the weekend after they get beat is my reading of it.

From a Clonoe side of thing a few years back for a period of time we have 3 players on county panel Dwayne Quinn, PJ and Conor Skeet 3 out of 5 starred fixtures where against teams with no county panellists there was no out cry and were more or less told to suck it up..when Conor Skeet was our only rep on county panel something similar happened and we were told that one county player was not taken into consideration for starred games it was 2 or more.. if league was redrawn I would be happy enough with it by way just for the record!!

Mentioned three charges what is the 4th charge I wonder that may be the key to the answer!

Is it 4 or 6 primary schools that Errigal can pick from within their parish. I think that is the key fact that speaks for itself.

Killyclogher may have more

Just heard this morning the CCC have already ruled on the Moy v Clonoe game.

For assaulting the Moy manager the aggressor got......

A 4 week suspension!!!

Literally off Scott free, won't be a league game for 10-12 weeks at least. This is grapevine information not a confirmed source.

No ban for the jawbreaker.

If this is the case and there's no grounds to change this punishment I'd fully back legal involvement. Above I stated that the GAA should be allowed to handle the situation, they have shown clearly that they aren't able to either because of restrictions in the rule book or a week Tyrone CCC

What did Moy goalkeeper get for his assault?

Don't think Dromore are anywhere near as good as Errigal. I think they will win easy enough.

At this stage of the championship it is about more than just ability.

I fully agree Dungannon arguably have the best panel in the county but they will continue to struggle against the more streetwise teams in the championship they need to realise championship and league is different stuff .. Sometimes if not all the time you need to keep it tight at the back and win ugly if needed. Winning playing flamboyant football will work every now and again but more often than not it wont work.

What was No10 thinking there for Kileeshil? Imaging doing something so stupid in a do or die situation. That free went from a 20% chance to an 80% chance with that.

Killeeshil unlucky could have had a penalty in extra time.. did galbally only score one point from play?

Stephen Ferguson has stepped down as Coalisland manager, is giving one season of service really enough time for a manager to resign?

No point being there if he is not managing the team i suppose.

Big win in Tyrone hurling tonight for Naomh Colmcille over Dungannon sees them through to play Carrickmore in the senior county final.

Wow that is a shock and a half when is hurling final?

Do any of these guys play in coalisland firsts?

They also Transferred in the 2 McHughs from Clonoe, Tiernan O'Neill and Shane Harte from Brocagh...along with several youth players in the last 2/3 years.

In fairness the mchughs saw what was coming down the tracks ... clonoe put more effort into their teeny boppers these days than on the pitch itself  ;)

Its a long road where there isn't a turning  :o ;D ;D ;D ;D

all that recruiting only to take a trimming

Will they go back in house for the management gig next season with the tried and trusted O'Hagan? Or look about the smaller local teams again for management?

Would say Ferguson will be gone, Fianna are a better team than we seen last night. How did they keep Hampsey or McKernan in the half back line and watch the full back line get tore apart. Carrickmore would not beat any team in the other side of the draw on last nights performance IMO.

Dungannon deserved to win no doubt.. Not easy being a referee but holy lord Cathal Forbes had a shocker and honestly he is not capable of improving!!
