The abominable handpass was reintroduced in the 1970s, the large parrallagram around then too.
A raft of changes in the early 90s such as frees and sidelines from the hands.
All frees and sidelines had to be from the ground before that.
I believe sidelines were thrown in with 1 hand up to the 40s

We'll continue to use skill, intelligence,science etc while ye can keep belting the ball as far as ye can with big shticks which ye've widened over the years to ridiculous proportions.
I suppose it gives bucks who can't kick a ball some role in the GAA .
