The Sports news on RTE 6 oclock News this evening told us that the "Kick Off" for this game is 7 pm .

Surely there is at least one GAA person in that Rugby dominated nest of Dublin 4 vipers.

I just won't be there.

Neither will I.
I will go about my normal business and totally ignore that type of nonsense.

[....Willie O'Dea for this, and quite frankly, it would not surprise me at all if you are one of them.

Surely there's only one Willie O'Dea  :o

Chonaic mise iad ag imirt i bPáirc de hIde roinnt bliain ó shin -in aghaidh na Piarsaigh -i gcluiche Ceannais Shóisear Club Connachta.
Níl mé cinnte ach ceapaim gur as cheanntair an Spidéil iad ?
Sé an béic a bhí ag a lucht leanúna ná "C'mon na Breathna".
I fear for Sligo in this game as the Galway forwards may make mincemeat of the Sligo FBL.
Roscommon moved the ball quick to the FFL about 4 times in the whole game and scored 2-2.
Can you imagine how many times Galway will send quick ball into their forwards.
Hope I'm wrong as it would be lovely to see Sligo take the Nestor but I think it's a forlorn hope.
Usual Unionist denial  >:(- The IRA started up again in 1970 totally in a vacuum according to that theory.
Ignore the 50 year Nationalist nightmare, gerrymandering, discrimination, etc etc.
Ignore the batoning of peaceful Civil rights marchers,The turning of the Brit Army who came in 1969 to prevent Loyalist pogroms into another wing of the Unionist repression machine in 1970 which begat the Provo IRA etc etc.

. A lot people just want these footballers to put some pride back in the shirt so hopefully that starts here....

And a similar story here but I think we've given up on our Senior lot especially Fergies fledgelings are looking good again this year.
Word is it's on the Saturday night and hopefully the Connacht final also in the Hyde on the Sunday.

Dougan made his Northern Ireland debut against Czechoslovakia during the 1958 World Cup in Sweden and his latest international appearance was in 1973.

Was this as a result of him playing for an All Ireland Selection v Brazil????
I heard him and David Craig never got picked for Internationals again.
Mr Fearon will no doubt fill us in.

Rest in peace Doog.
