Most disappointing set of semi finals I can remember for a long time. Can't argue with the teams in the final though, not sure who could say those aren't the two best teams this year. Should be a cracking contest

DnG decent outfit for sure but don't know why they are being so lauded.

Beat 3 x Div 2 teams in Louth, Monaghan and Meath to get to the final.

As handy a set of opponents as there has been in a long time.

I would just remind tyroneman that Kerry also beat a div2 team yesterday and with plenty to spare.

Kerry beat a team that played in Div 1 this year, so put the bolloxology to one side.

They also beat the AI champions.

Tyrone were Div 2 in the AI rankings this year. Kerry had their brilliant 2nd half v Armagh to demonstrate their best. Now they meet the Donegal defence, imo the best in the country.

Don't know if it was mentioned in here or not but a pivotal point in the match is when Tyrone scored a 2 pointer and Kerry Joe brought it back for a free. Would have stopped the rot and gave Tyrone a platform.

Also Teagues performance on Ose considering his performance against Armagh was outstanding.

I thought Kerry were getting their frees handier than Tyrone in certain periods but it wasn't game changing.

The point you mention, however, was just unfortunate for Tyrone rather than a referee error. He played advantage then there was another foul. He blew for the free at that point. After that the 2 pointer was kicked.
He can't change his mind after he has blown for the free, be it common sense or not.

The ref wasn't the winning or losing of the game, I think, though momentum is everything (like Tyrone's many poor wides, deflating them and giving Kerry confidence).

It There were a number of clear frees that he just didn't give on both sides. I couldn't understand how Kennedy could catch a ball, be seemingly taken out in the air and get neither a mark or a free.

I also felt like there were a lot of frees given to Kerry where there was no obvious contact made.

When Tyrone lose the ref is always complicit

I couldn't hack the studio judge giving the 5th round to Serrano as that was Katie's smartest round, she hit Amanda with a 4/5 punch combination to get ahead after one minute and stayed away out of trouble for the last 30 seconds.

Putin has repeatedly avoided declaring another mobilization and instead relies on crypto-mobilization methods to reinforce his forces.
While pushing for more volunteers, the Russian government has quietly erased key mortality data from public view. On 5 July, opposition outlet Meduza reported that the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) excluded demographic statistics from its "Socioeconomic Situation in Russia" report covering January to May 2025.

Additionally, electoral statistics researcher Dmitry Kobak said in late June that Rosstat had declined his requests for 2024 data on male excess mortality and monthly death counts by actual date of death.

ISW previously assessed that Rosstat is concealing population data "likely also aims to obscure the Russian military's high personnel loss rates."

I have been following The Rest is Classified, about 'the secretive world of spies, espionage, and covert operations. Hosted by former CIA analyst turned spy novelist, David McCloskey, and veteran security correspondent, Gordon Corera.'  Excellent stuff. There's another top notch BBC produced one (a dramatised podcast) on the CIA, Central Intelligence, has ED Harris narrating the Allen Dulles character. Good to combine both, one of the BBC's episodes gives account of the bizarre attempts to engineer  a coup by a coalition of 'The Allies' in Albania ousting Hoxha in post WW2, all attempts failed miserably, Kim Philby's fingerprints were all over the betrayal of the plans.

The Court of Appeal is to refer, for consideration of possible perjury, material related to a fresh evidence sought to be admitted on behalf of Conor McGregor, but later withdrawn. The material was related to his appeal against a High Court civil jury finding in favour of Nikita Hand, who alleged he raped her in a Dublin hotel.

The evidence, in which Ms Hand's neighbour claimed she witnessed a physical altercation between Ms Hand and her then partner within hours of the encounter between Ms Hand and Mr McGregor in the Beacon hotel was dramatically withdrawn by his side at the outset of his appeal on Tuesday.

Ms Hand had described the evidence as "lies" and said Stephen Redmond never assaulted her during their relationship.

Mr McGregor's appeal over the November 2024 jury finding concluded on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the court heard a linked appeal by James Lawrence (36), Rafter's Road, Drimnagh, over a refusal to award him costs against Ms Hand following the jury decision he had not assaulted her after Mr McGregor left the hotel on December 9th, 2018. Judgment on both appeals will be given on a later date.

Apparantly according to CNN report the US military did not use so called bunker busters on the deep in the mountain Isfhan site 'because the site is so deep that the bombs likely would not have been effective, '
