I'm looking forward to Derry Donegal match this weekend.
Derry favourites of course, but there is that Jesus factor with Jimmy boy

That will be some u-turn for him, but maybe a sign that LIV are going to win eventually.

Dates written Month/Day/Year, like:
February 12th 2024
...instead of the correct way , Day/Month/Year , like:
12th February 2024
Apparently it's only the Americans who write it MDY , so why the feck am I seeing it more and more in Ireland?
Grrrrr!!!!!
I'm sure you know that American English is more authentic an closer to the original than the English used across the british isles?
Yeah , but surely you mean grammatically closer? The numbers/date thing is a different issue
But that's another statement that annoys me. Should be British and Irish isles, or just Britain & Ireland , or Ireland & Britain.

If Cavan are as poor as they finished the league it will be handy win for Monaghan. However this is championship playing the neighbours and live on BBC and RTE if no kick and competitive showing from Cavan it will speak volumes about them.
Best value bet is Monaghan ahead at HT but Cavan by a couple at the end.

And what did he actually get it for?
I mean , he never won Wimbledon or an Olympic gold medal like those other deserving knighted folk.
Very good question.saying nopolitics. I'd say he was shoe in to be fast tracked into Lords when he lost the MP seat in lagan valley. Obviously losing the seat is a guarantee now and his lordship is well and truely in the mud
I remember looking that up a few years ago as I was shocked that he was knighted, especially given his hard it is for some, more deserving, recipients.
You make it sound like a British knighthood is something to cherish and be proud of??
