This may well be the most pro-Meatloaf community I know of.

I move to rename this site the meatloafboard.com

Wouldn't think so.  Where are you? I'm in the US. I had to log in again with the new website, but my subscription shows as up to date.

Echoing J70's point.  Stay the f**k away.

Thinking of just getting a burner phone for  my next visit to Ireland.

Quote from: screenexile on April 11, 2025, 04:19:08 PMHave 3 more in the bag.

Bete Noire - decent watch if a bit far fetched
Plaything - same as above not as good as Common People

Eulogy was excellent. A very believable and emotional storyline. Paul Giamatti is brilliant in it definitely one of the better episodes.

Should get Hotel Reverie in this evening and hopefully US Callister 2 over the weekend. The first Callister seemed to be a big hit although I wasn't a huge fan I'd imagine it's a similar tale.

Common people, good, but took a fair while to get going.
Hotel Reverie, very good, but I like that sort of metafiction thing. Not for everyone, and definitely a bit sappy by the end.

Bete Noir: Complete shite.

Plaything: Excellent.  That Peter Capaldi is such a good actor.  Best episode by far of the 5 I've watched.

Eulogy: Mixed. Well acted, but a bit nothing in the end.

Supreme Court already ruled that he can't be done for any of his actions as President. He's immune. Him choking on one of his burgers is our best shot.

Quote from: gallsman on April 08, 2025, 11:11:45 AMUnderbelly S1 is terrific.

Watched the whole thing years ago. Very engaging.

Seasons 2 and 3 are a lot better.  Some of the acting in that first season is a bit ropey.

Yeah, but probably not right after someone had posted a link to a petition that people on this thread are interested in.  But sure carry on.  You will anyway.

You are probably using software in your computer/phone that has been produced in Israel to send this message

So if we can't be completely pure we shouldn't try to be better?

Yeah, that's exactly what I said  ::)

It's exactly what you said / implied... Trumpesque reply

So what was your point, beyond telling us what we already know?

Investment account down 6.5K today alone.

I thought the upside for letting fascists...sorry, Republicans run the country was all the economic winning we'd be doing?

Quote from: J70 on March 30, 2025, 02:00:37 PMWas hoping to watch this, but it looks like GAA Go are f**king around with the overseas app and making you pay again on GAAgo.ie.

They can keep it.

Working OK for me.

Though why they'd pick the day of the final to update the app...?
