A tasty set of quarterfinals.  Brazil, Argentina, France and Portugal the favourites, but a couple of results against the bookies would be no surprise at all.  Anybody could beat anybody from here on in.  It could become a classic World Cup.

Just another symptom of the shambles that is the parties at Stormont.  A bunch of amateurs mostly incapable and sometimes afraid to make hard decisions. Health professionals have warned for years that we were heading straight for the cliffs, and here we are.

It looks like a tough assignment.  Glen want another cut at Kilcoo.  Theyíll go into tomorrowís game to get the job done. Last year will stand to them and will probably make the difference.

The pattern so far seems to be the young super fit teams are running/pressing the older teams off the pitch.  Canada run Belgium off the park. Iran all over Argentina.  Etc.  the last 16 looks like it will have a few teams who we havenít been paying attention to.

All very positive.....bring it on. I expect it will be available as well for Antrim County matches and club finals etc as was the norm at the old Casement.
All dependent on what concerts are planned. Ulster GAA out of their depth.
Itís a scandal at this stage. Years upon years where a whole generation of young Antrim gaels had no stadium, and itís a white elephant into the bargain.  The people in power in the GAA and politics got ahead of themselves, and Antrim GAA made a historically stupid decision.

Loved watching him. The high catch, turn and bullet to the net is what Iíll remember. Hope he enjoys his retirement. And heís away with his All Ireland medal and a fist full of Ulsters which is just reward.

Genuine question, are the likes of Mickey Brady and Francie Molloy stealing a living, or are they doing some really great work somewhere and I just havenít seen it.
Mickey would do a good bit in the community in fairness to him, but heís not exactly in danger of losing a seat
Very good, but I donít know any community workers on 84 grand a year plus expenses, and anyway is that not what councillors are for?  Most MPs do constituency work on a Friday, so what does Mickey actually do on a Monday, or a Tuesday etc?
Sure why donít you pop into his office and ask him then youíll be able to come back on here and tell us.
Not sure where youíre going with that comment.  What do they do that a councillor canít do?  Name me one thing?

There's only 1 party holding it up so stop paying them instead of penalising everyone.
