I don’t know what point you’re trying to make, I want Casement built ASAP - traffic congestion is so bad it’s almost irrelevant in my view. Belfast is already one of the worst cities when it comes to traffic congestion. One report ranks it as 50th in the world, another has it as 5th in the UK and one even has it at 2nd.Anyone who commutes into and out of Belfast knows that even the most minor of collisions or even just a breakdown in the wrong place at the wrong time in the wrong conditions can cause the the most drastic tailbacks right across the city. So unless the Westlink is overhauled and York St interchange is built, nothing will change, Casement or no Casement.You wouldn't want to be in an emergency to get to the Royal Hospital on a match day with 34k ppl trying to get there. But as someone has said, plenty of places in England manage to do it on a weekly basis. GAA people are too used to taking the car to places and 'thrownin her' up on the curb and dandering 5 mins to the game. Getting on the train to Casement, parking in City Centre and getting a bus, parking at the playing fields in Boucher etc. I am sure once Casement is built and after a few years of teething problems it'll all be straight forward. Not having a first class stadium in the 2nd biggest city in Ireland is embarrassing.They need a plan before it opens, not several instances of chaos before they act.
You do know there are worse with regards to traffic/road/rail networks in the UK hosting games of a bigger volume than Casement on a weekly bases?
We could spend a 1000 pages on looking at why it shouldnt be there and we could spend a 1000 pages on why it shouldnt be somewhere else.

NI nor the UK are broke. They just choose to withhold funding to attack the most vulnerable. Health, Education, Infrastructure. These cuts are by choice.
NI could cut its corporate tax rate but needs £500m to back the projections and it doesn't have it. How much does the road cost ?

Irish tax payers should be funding a motorway from Letterkenny to Tuam which would link with the existing M17 and join the M20 when it’s completed to Cork
This would be one piece of infrastructure that would help act as a counter balance to the Eastern Seaboard

It is also a road linking west Tyrone with Belfast but that is never mentioned.
From the same playbook as the downplaying of the name when it comes to reporting accidents. According to the BBC accidents happen on the Curr road or the Beltany road or the Doogary road, not the A5.
Why is this all being dumped on Derry as if they have any legal authority to investigate anything? Why are people on social media not hounding everyone else from the story in Sunday's paper which Mrs Gallagher said failed her - The PSNI, the PPS and the Western Health Trust? The organisations who should be investigating and dealing with and who have the authority to do so, not the Derry County Board or any other County Board in the country for that matter.If I was from Derry I’d be wanting to disassociate with RG completely unless he made a statement containing a clear, robust denial of all allegations.
But that doesn't suit the narrative for the faux outrage and rumour spreading for a few on here who are more interested in taking glee that Rory Gallagher has been taken down due to their dislike of him before this news than any welfare considerations for Mrs Gallagher herself. Derry are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.
