Huge respect for him as a player and a man. His football achievements are well documented. Came to our club to present underage medals to our lads with the Cormac McAnallen Cup...the same night when The Moy won the league or championship (can't mind which) and he should have been at home with his mates on the lash.

Imagine. Another manager of any other county who hadnt reached an AI Final after 3 or 4 years of him in charge and then they ship a humiliating defeat in an AI Semi Final...he'd be out the door. Tyrone haven't reached an AI Final since 2008 and still Mickey hangs on...wtf
The cult of Mickey is too strong. He's like Wenger - he hasn't the humility to slip out the door and the powers that be don't have the balls to deal with him. The board need to dispense with nostalgia, thank him for the memories and tell him his time is up.

GAA Discussion / Re: Ciaran McKeever

I never liked McKeever...gave him abuse many's a time from the stands and the sofa...BUT thats the sign of a good player. He wound me up because he wound our lads up. A decent player...the type of player you want on your side. Maybe not in the same class as the class of '02 but I admired him.

Michael O'Neill talking sense on RTE. Break the bank now and get a few high profile players in before the deadline. That result tonight guarantees about £30-£40 million.

Booked Killarney for a week.

Plan to do the Ring and Dingle Peninsula. Done both before, but keen to do again. Other than those, anyone recommend something else in the Killarney area to do/see?

Also, anything to see off the M7/8 on the way down, where you could visit and help break up the journey?
Visit Kate Kearneys cottage for a bite to eat then drive up the Gap through the Black Valley and up to Moll's Gap.
Beaches - Inch, Glenboig White Strand outside Seems.
Dingle for the day
Mucross, Torc Waterfall beside each other. Take a trip on the jaunting cars from here or from town to Ross castle for a boat trip.
Hire a bike n get lost in the park.
Bring a coat  :)

...and a lot of money :(

Finished Ozark last week and in the end I don't think it lived up to the promise of the earlier episodes. On the hunt for a new boxset. Started watching The Night Of until the missus said halfway through episode 1 that this is very like a show we watched on BBC years ago. Google confirmed it so it's now binned.
Just finished it myself...thought it was brilliant from start to finish...Buddy's a legend.
