At the end of the day, the GAA want a top of the range stadia, but pay £15million to built it. Would that wash if u wanted to built a house, but only pay 1/6 of the cost to build it. They have to build whatever can be built, with the money available.They seem to miss the point that their sheer lack of due diligence, back about 10yrs ago, is the main reason we in this shit show.

Major c**k up by the police to bring him out and no transport. Saw a photo of that man and he looks exactly like you expect him to. Bryson seems to think he's a republican.

I'm almost certain Ben Lowry says good to see you to him and seemed to know where he was from.

Could be a republican but highly unlikely.

The "good to see you" greeting was so low key as to mean the sewer rats I have to associate with in order to get a bit of info.

[His killing in prison, also feels like it could have had a level of facilitating about it - perhaps to keep him quiet?]

You will have noticed that the LVF were generally unable to carry out any attacks in the Garvaghy Road and Tunnel areas of Portadown. They did once try to shoot up the Tír na nÓg clubhouse one night but apparently the gunman was shaking so much he missed the building. Billy Wright and his cohorts were very much protected and enabled by the RUC, everyone in Portadown was aware of this hence the RUC couldn't guarantee easy access and exit from any of the nationalist areas of town. As an aside Robert Hamill's mother died this week without seeing any justice for her son's murder.

Wasn't aware of the Portadown situation, but thinking back on it there was genuine fear of the LVF across the catholic community. Watching King Rat and his cohorts patrol the crowds at Garvaghy always sent chills. There was that feeling that they could and would do what they wanted. Pure evil.
I know Wright eventually finished up in prison, but I can't remember what the charge was.

Happy enough with the outcome of that facilitation. Crip died young but he performed an important task.

Crip was a sc**bag, killed a man for not letting him into a bar.

Newry or Armagh would have had a full house so opportunity lost for good crowd and  atmosphere. I guess the mighty Armagh would prefer a trot out in clones to help prepare for the ulster final...

Interesting one. Seems the offer was there for a coin flip for Newry or Armagh was there. Down were up for it but Armagh said no. Bad form from Armagh county board or whoever made that call if so.

Kilcoo cute hoorism. Bit late bringing it up now Laverty. Although Newry or Armagh would have been far handier.

In fairness, from my reading of that, it seems like he was asked about it and gave an answer rather than trying to play mind games or anything.

Man City 3 up. Brighton in holiday mode. A good chance to boost their goal difference. Have been very poor the last few months. Don't think DeZerbi will be getting one of the top jobs.

2nd goal that came from a free kick I don't think was a foul on Foden. Very poor by Brighton trying to play out from the back on the 3rd goal.

Definitely not a free for Foden. Might as well give the trophy to Man City now. Won't be stopped.

Even if it wasn't a free kick, Brighton are on their Hols and lost 4 nil.

One team had a chance to win the league but a draw and defeat took it out of their hands..

Not so much of a recommendation, but anyway..

I don't have Sky , but caught  a bit of League of their Own , US Road Trip on Sky Mix (available on free TV)

Anyway,  it  was ok viewing but    Freddie Flintoff  was even more of a bell-end on this , than he was on Top Gear (before I stopped watching).
