Yes I know tomorrow (today) or whatever is April Fool's Day, this is just slightly coincidental.

Anyone following the team holiday story will know the pressure from the county board on the players and mgt to commit to reduce expenses this year.  I heard at a meeting last wk that it was a very sticky issue trying to get commitment at the beginning of the year, and management wasn't happy.

My sister's colleague has arranged three weeks ago for MH to come and talk to students at an East Belfast school about being a pioneer - MH asked yesterday for the original date to be rearranged for a few wks earlier.

There's just a few bells ringing in my head.

Just sent a text to a notable relative to check - if this isn't true then I'm in bother for waking him.

My dad's heard nothing around Strabane anyway.

Oh dear god that'll explain why the Ladies Ulster Council meeting in Kellys tonight was cancelled due to "another urgent booking".  They wouldn't let us in the door but I saw Pat Darcy's car outside!

Will try to confirm with a reliable source.

League: Tattyreagh
Championship: Aghaloo
Play offs: Drumquin, Newtown, Glenelly, Dungannon.

Ah c'mon man, aim high.  New manager, strong club, and new pitch really taking shape.  Owen Roes for the play-offs!  (I can say that without remorse given that a ball hasn't been kicked yet.)

Will they though?  If the company is in administration, they may not have the money and consultation will not be required.  I'm no expert in this to be honest but having had the joy of making people redundant after Christmas following an administration, I know those people had to claim from the redundancy payments service.

I presume it was unofficial then two weeks ago.

My colleague was at the match on Sat night.  He's just told me that as he was making his way away from the ground towards the Donegall Rd after the match, they encountered a bunch of "hoods" who were coming from the opposite direction (ie not Windsor, and therefore not at the game) with crowbars and scarves round their faces who seemed to have the intention of putting in windows.

Just watched McGuigan's offence there, can't believe that is what all the fuss is about. Wrong, yes, have I seen worse, undoubtedly, does it make me question Mickey Harte's catholicism, no.
Mulligan impressed me last night, as did Jordan in the latter stages. The Tyrone defence appeared very patient and that served to frustrate in a number of instances.

How do you know Ziggy??? i assume you know the person :-X

"the person" - you might have at least tried putting "Rois" in here illdecide!  Makes me feel like a stranger!

Croi - sounds like you've cracked it (or maybe I told you once?)

Snodgrass is not uncommon in Strabane - I worked with a lady called Pat Alcock and another called Esther Polley (switch it round).

Ah Ziggy people pre-fix it with many alternatives - Wanda being one.

Wanda Fish?

Is your surname "Screw" Rois?

Along those lines Minder

I get a bit of abuse/teasing about my surname from those who've never heard it before, but that's happening less and less, especially in Ireland.
