nothing t o to do with Current Row but From a football POV I'm glad hes gone . his teams have played  in a very negative manner like McGuiness he was will to destroy the game for his own Glory. and like McGuiness it could be a long time before we would see him in another management role regardless.

This has gone way past Denial Stage. She has made it all Public and family law cases ae normall far to complex to be Covered by a single statement .
no (reputational) Good Can come out of a court room People think they have the Facts and will judge accordingly.
As regards Football the Derry board have to make a call and they will be wrong either way

Was just chatting to a fairly passionate GAA man, his reaction to the draw is that it is a bit too watered down.
Hard to disagree. Hopefully next year, they consider just the top two go through from the groups. Full stop.

With that would have the Super 8s issue of dead rubber games in round 3 and i can't see HQ doing or wanting that.
Tailtean cup winners should b included too at the expese of the 8th team, help keep things interesting

Stafford v Tompkins in the late 80s were serious exponents. Eamon Mc enamey from memory was a fine kicker. Gormley had a lovely high curl in and over style. Corkers was class as well.
its not about scoring great frees other wise one of the goalies would win. probably beggan though Robbie hennelly hs scored some amazing Kicks from out near the middle of the field .
Consistency is what its about and thats why Cillian wins as teh stats show.
though maybe bounus points should be awarded for importance ,3 i can thingk of are MC enamey to win the league  and Cluxton and Rock to secure  The AIF
i
O'Connor is not ahead  of Dean Rock.
sorry, stats disagree with you.

Will Mayo ultimately be glad that they won the league? The answer to that remains to emerge but next Sunday's outcome will have a major bearing. The strong signals from the county are that the momentum of winning outweighs the benefit of a better spaced schedule.

yes because the league is a national Title and worthy of winning in its own right .
mayo are always favourites playing roscommon anyway so it didnt change anything.
The disrespect H have shown to the league by starting the championship a week later is no something mayo can do anything about

Here is a comparison with data

https://dontfoul.wordpress.com/2016/06/17/the-best-free-taker/

QuoteO'Connor's consistency is beyond reproach and it is this, alloyed to his proven accuracy, that surely gives him the title of "the best free taker".

yhe big difference in the the Semi-final is that  24 or 15 or ( no new injuries on sunday) ) will probably start for mayo where as Galway will only start maybe 7 or 8 from yesterdays team .

A whole new ball game

Many of the goalies mentioned hve fantastic Strikes of the ball , Beggan probably the best at the moment .
and you cant compare the plastic coated ball with the one they eued in the 60's

But this is a question the stats answer . the greatest free taker of all time is
.
.
.
Cillian o'Connor  and Matt connor boteh with an average of 7 pts per game.

MacKenna is genuinely unhinged and has been for years. Is now bringing Gary Lineker into it as if it's some sort of free speech issue

Wooly is as thick as two planks but thinks he's an enlightened genius.
so does every one who disagrees with you have mental issues?
