You can drink beer on the field as far as I know - no wine allowed though!

That's what the women's handbags are for. Just make sure if ye end up in dicey's don't sl*t drop, or a lovely wee indian fella will kindly call security and escort you out.

Has anyone any contacts in the states for quantity surveying jobs? Think equivalent job title is a construction estimator/cost controller out there if I'm correct? PM me if needs be. Thanks.

UFC 200 - I see that's noted down on UFC official website for Saturday July 9 in Las Vegas.

Do the UFC have this penned down as a big landmark event or do these numbers of their events mean nothing i.e. is 197 etc just as big?

Would consider booking flights shortly it if there was a good chance McGregor etc would be at it!

Was down myself on Saturday night and I'd agree Benny, the smaller players definitely did not have the same impact - Peter Harte, Matty Donnelly as strong as he is I thought struggled to make an impression. Brennan, O'Se, Quinn to name a few all got stuck in and suited the game better.

Omaghjoe yeah only time I've had draft was in the states. They do a "torpedo" version in bottle if i'm not mistaken? Althought I'm not sure what it is. It's hard to get Sierra here in off licenses, tescos are the only ones I know and they keep very low stock - 8 bottles on shelf!!  :o

I mind in San francisco they had Anchor brew or anchor steam, wasn't fond of it at all.

That Galway Hooker is nice when I get it down south (no pun intended  :P )

Going to meet your man Spence at Ulster Independent end of the month. Might get an MRI before that/might not, been told to see him 1st. Hopefully get sorted and an op as soon as. I made contact with McEntee but my insurance won't cover it as he's in the South..

Cheers for the help!

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, either in bottle or draft, absolutely heavenly on the tastebuds.

Bud Light I also enjoy.

Shocktop (Belgian) with a thin slice of orange on top is also divine.

Read all the posts on here, good to hear feedback from fellow sufferers. I've read article after online physio forum after forum! It seems to be hard to pinpoint it on any one diagnosis, you've the psoas muscle, osteoitis pubis, gilmores groin, sportsmans groin etc.

After I do a training session, or play a game for the club, walking off the pitch my left hip/groin basically the whole upper left leg stiffens so much that I begin to limp. I believe it's the result of excessive twisting turning etc. Sometimes during a club game it might come on after 10 minutes, or 40 minutes, and seriously hampers performance & mobility as it feels like you can' t get past half pace running i.e. can't sprint. The night after a game in bed is agony, and the next morning it's extremely sore to get out of bed and come down the stairs, lasts for a few days until the next training.

My physio originally diagnosed it as hip impingement, as i too get a clicking all the time., several times a day. I've done a few core rehabilitation programmes but nothing seems to have worked. Have now got the results of an ultrasound which say "athletic pubalgia" - which I believe is now a very out-dated term in modern sports injuries. I've been referred on for an MRI but club physio has said it will be useless, as MRI probably won't pick it up, and to go to either Roy Spence - Ulster Indepedent Clinic Belfast, or Gerry McEntee. Have an appointment now for R. Spence at end of the month. Anyone ever been to him? I'm going private by the way, seems to be successful reports on here about Gerry McEntee.

I've been told these are the two best men to see, has anyone any reports of the Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry?

Regarding running injuries - Anyone ever had athletic pubalgia? The modern term for it is sports hernia, but I've had an ultrasound and no inguinal hernia has been found.

It's defined as: Sports activities that involve planting the feet and twisting with maximum exertion can cause a tear in the soft tissue of the lower abdomen or groin.
A sports hernia will usually cause severe pain in the groin area at the time of the injury. The pain typically gets better with rest, but comes back when you return to sports activity, especially with twisting movements.

Without treatment, this injury can result in chronic, disabling pain that prevents you from resuming sports activities.

Next step is to push the MRI, anyone ever had the surgery for it? Been doing all the associated stretching and rehabilitation to ease it for quite some time now, but after a training session/run its just back to square one, as soon as I step into the car it's a struggle to get out again the pain is that sore.

Unless young Mullan is developed into a good tight man marker to slot in at corner back I can't see him being worthy. Didn't particularly impress for Cookstown in any games I saw him this year, although his pace and fitness levels are scary.

He was great man marker in the U21 success, always out in front.
