Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and Hurling
March 14, 2016, 10:06:36 AM
Big Colm was class again yesterday, it's been evident for a while but he's now more important to the team than Sean. Yes Sean has that brilliance in him, which he showed yesterday when he went on one of his runs and hammered the cross bar with a shot, but Colm plays a key role in around the edge of the square.

If Tyrone want to have a go at the Dublin's and Kerry's this year he must be kept fit.
Ronan' O'Neill was a class act again yesterday up until he went off injured, put in a lot of hard work. Any word on him or Ronan McNamee?

San Diego always seems a very expensive place to fly to any time I've priced it..any reason for this? Accomodation in Vegas is very cheap in July, but the flights aren't really. Looking at September instead..
I was thinking of LA as a base airport, as going to san diego from vegas would mean having to drive back up to LV for the flight home because of the price!

Anyone been to San Diego? Been to SF & LA and friends have told me it's their favourite city on the West coast... Bit confused as to where to stay, I've read the main nightlife is the gaslamp quarter? Has anyone drove to Vegas from it or vice versa. Says 4.5/5 hrs.

Good call Iceman. Looking forward to your assessment on here!

Gonna take the chance and book Vegas for UFC200 July 9th in the next week or two with a few other men, McGregor bound to be on the card? Going by the UFC Fan websites & social media, it's gonna be Edgar or Aldo at FW?

Last July was my 1st time in LV which I suppose was always gonig to be good regardless of the fight, but it was the best week of our lives which has to be repeated this year!!  ;D ;D

If can beat Spurs Saturday we're level with them joint second on 54 points, although could be doing Leicester a favour if they win they'll be 6 points clear with 60!!

I really can't see it at this stage but IF they win Saturday, you never know.. Barcelona and the FA Cup would be better out of the way IMO.

You reckon McGregor will be beat Iceman if Diaz gets him on the mat? Interesting, bookies have him at 2/7 but what would they know!

Tyroneman is spot on. I haven't been on the thread for a while but I was hopeful lately that we might actually win the league, the run in of games was always going to be tough, even before United it was a much tougher remaining fixture list than that of Spurs and Leicester.

There is NO way Wenger can defend himself at the end of this season if Spurs or Leicester win the title. Not a chance, If Man City or Chelsea had have been in the running then he would have threw the "ah sure they have all the money in the world to spend it wouldn't matter who I would've bought". But for Leicester and Spurs, both with considerably less transfer kitty's in the windows to not only finish above you but to look like more complete football teams is a disgrace. I cannot defend Wenger anymore, he must be axed if this is the outcome.
Was ironically watching premiership years last night, 98 winning season and the last few fixtures of the season United were hot on their tail, they steal rolled everyone, real leaders and the goals came from everywhere - Overmars, Vieira commanding midfield, they clinched the title in a brilliant performance against Everton where Tony Adams went on a run from centre back and scored a strikers goal to hammer them 4-0, grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck.

Who the f*ck in this current crop would do that?? Yes surely Sanchez is unreal, and so is Ozil. But they aren't those sort of men who get stuck in for you on the cold, wet Tuesday nights in Stoke. Ramsey, wilshere, Ox, Walcott, Giroud to name a few, get them all out to f*ck on their hole. Happy to take their wage every week and lie down to any team with a bit of bite in them. Who are these men were buying ??? Elneny, an Egyptian unknown from the Swiss league, Jesus Christ. Peter Cech Sanchez and Ozil have been the only stars bought in the last few years, and The rest just aren't consistent.
The back line , I've defended Koscielny but as for this season he just seems to be a headless chicken, and don't get me started on Mertesacker, he's so slow he goes backwards when he starts to run.

Rant over!

The premier league has been a complete minefield this year for the Saturday accum bets. Impossible to predict I've found!!! And don't even get me started on Italian football. Your nearly always safe with atletico, Madrid and barca and that's about it!!! Maybe throw Munich in also.

How will this leave things for boys going to America? Is there a "rule" in place now where they can't go out and play for a said team in the States and come home in August and play for their club in championship in September?

Long shot here, looking for any tickets for remaining games, obviously preferably at the Emirates, but not too fussy will go to away games, as we've quite a few other london based opposition. I've only gotten once before.  I'm taking my younger brother over,

Not expecting too much response here but anyways! - Anyone been over in the US for Spring Break? any of the college top party destinations : Panama City Beach ( seems really hard to get to, fly into Atlanta & drive 4 hours??  :o ) , Fort Lauderdale/Daytona, Miami south beach, and of course, there's always Vegas! Cancun as well but not so much..
Also hearing about Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and Punta Cana, Domincan Republic

Remaning fixtures for the Gunners are brutal, with United & Spurs in the next month. Spurs @ White Hart Lane on 5th March is MASSIVE, IMO. City not to 2nd last game of the season, then in between you've crystal palace, west ham, watford, no easy games. If they win it this year no one can take it away from them, do you's think Leicester will still stay strong after yesterday?

Still reckon we can pip Leicester and City to the title. City away at the Etihad on the last day, could it come down to that!

Leicester, United and Spurs all in the next month, with the latter two away. I think we'd need no less than 7 points from 9 here. Big ask but they have to show bottle some time, this has always been the stage of the season where Arsenal falter, then when there's no pressure cos they're out of the title race they suddenly come to life when competing for 4th in the last few games.
