Laois man

Who will over see the county set up now when they go back?

Spiritof1915

Im hearing Tommy Fitz has been approached.
If so, an excellent alternative.

The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory. VinceLombardi

Tommy Fitz confirmed now.

A great appointment in my opinion. Hopefully the county board gives him the tools he needs to make a go of it.

He might also convince any of the lads who were thinking of calling it a day to give another year and drive on to win McDonagh next year.

Best wishes to Darren and please God a speedy recovery.

A very good appointment getting Tommy Fitzgerald on board and hearing that Niall  Corcoran is going in as  head coach which is a great addition.

Zooming around

Delighted that Tommy is taking on the role. Best of luck to him.
Wishing Darren Gleeson a speedy recover too.

Well done Tommy Ditz, although I know that it's bitter sweet due to the situation but you can hopefully move the team forward. That being said, I live in the UK hence can some of my Laois supporting brothers please tell me anything new about the squad. Has any immigrated, left. Or have been brought in for the 26th of January against Westmeath. Give me your insights please guys. Bless yeh

Just a few lads unavailable from what I'm hearing. Roddy, Eric Killen and jack kelly all unavailable due to travels.

Hearing Picky is seriously considering bringing hos illustrious IC to an end
Eoghan Murphy going for surgery shortly and will unfortunately miss the u20 campaign.
Cha also going back to America apparently.
Lot of talent unavailable if true

Laois man

Why is Cha back training if he's going travelling again. What's wrong with Murphy? He was hurling With Heywood schools yesterday.

Operation in January apparently.
Ongoing problem with hip.
I stand corrected with Cha.
The rumour mill is rife
