Must be a lot of Gall's men as well as MR2 tossing advice to Cargin....they are indeed the only individuals qualified to give such.
Others who have not tread the Ulster tail are certainly not.

So the clubs who did test the route to the Provincial trail in the two years from the last ten when Cargin did not qualify coming did coming to grief at the first hurdle are hardly qualified as advisers.

I know more than a few, 'good intentioned posters' are urging retirements aplenty but doubt such will be taken.

So although not having been able to get the better of Cargin on the championship trail some on this board evidently feel qualified to offer advice,(with one notable exception) on the Ulster way....

Quote from: paddyjohn on October 08, 2024, 08:23:15 PMBut do Cargin really need motivation? he didn't say anything disrespectful about them. Cargin are a crafty outfit.

"Lacking in skill and without pace'..'crafty'hints at underhand activity.....certainly experienced from eight years in the last ten...in county finals......
Management's post game speech sorted........

And I am sure those words will go down a treat in the Cargin camp.......

Wonder would Casements have proved equally impressive in their semi final success, if they had met up with their original opponents before the shuffle, which was Brigid's, at that stage.....??

Worse luck, I decided to get off my ass and headed up.

Well you will be able to tell your grandkids that you watched Cargin reach their place in the Antrim Senior championship final for the 18th time......

Cargin management are most likely delighted on the new direction in championship arrangement I am hearing......what ever the dubious intention....

Now aligned with a side which struggled to get past a super hurling team which resides in division two football......
