Derrylaughan v Termon - Derrylaughan by 9
Collegeland are favourites with the bookies to beat Dromara which I was surprised at.  They took out a strongly fancied Forkhill team in semi final but limped over the line against a poor enough Port Mor side in the final after a replay. I believe Dromara are one of the better teams to come out of Down Junior in recent years? Armagh traditionally at junior level in Ulster have struggled.

That's why I tipped Dromara haha; I think it was you or another poster who said they were the strongest Junior Team in Down in years few weeks back.

Does anyone know much about Termon? They are 4/1 with bookies for this game, Derrylaughan are a good strong team with some great players in Brian Kennedy and Tomas Carney but the Tyrone intermediate representatives are normally a bit stronger than them, 4/1 would maybe present decent value if Termon had anything about them

Craigbane v Knockbride this weekend what we thinking.

Knockbride are big favourites with the bookies but I wouldnt be so confident.

Unless winning Junior after so long releases the shackles altogether.

Looking through Craigbanes results they have been more impressive than Knockbrides. Beating the Tyrone champions is no mean feat either.

I think whoever wins this will win Ulster with the Tyrone champions gone.
[/quote]

Craigbane didn't play senior football like knockbride have though

Division 1 football is not the same as senior football, as you well know.

Termon are scandalous odds at 4-1. Derrylaughan obviously favourites, but 4-1 is outrageous. Termon strongest Intermediate champions from Donegal in the last 10 years. Should have been playing senior level in Donegal 2 or 3 years ago.

Does that mean if you win you'll get more wives and children? Don't know if I'd have risked that...

And by winning the 2014 Leinster junior title Cavan proved they will lower the bar to take provincial titles, endemic within the county, endorsed by county board

ps I see the whole of East Cavan have entered the Ulster Junior hurling championship today, laughable

Could be 12 or 13 clubs in that East Cavan amalgamation.

Had 80 out at training some nights I heard.

But great to see them competing.

Great for Cavan hurling.

What's the difference in knockbride playing senior teams in the league ? It's bizarre. You plays senior teams in the league but that's no benefit at all you are saying ?
