4-0 win over Liverpool in Erik Ten Hag first game as United manager.  Only a challenge but the fitness looks better and even with a B team against Liverpools first choice team for the last 30 minutes there was decent organisation about the team on the pitch.  The starting team he gave plenty of underperformers the opportunity to impress how many of them will start for the opening PL game next month?

A nothing match really as Liverpool are behind united in terms of pre season training, also changed the entire teams after 32 mins. But still considering it was Ten Hags first game its good to get a winning start. Sounds like he is working them hard in training which is no harm but the Liverpool game on 22nd of August will tell us a lot more.

Seems the deal to sign Martinez is more or less done. 5ft 9 very short for a CB so it will be interesting to see how he does in the Premier league.

Think Eriksen on a free is a great bit of business and really hope he does well after what he went through...

Not much talk of anyone coming in for Ronaldo with Chelsea ruling it out. Bayern ruled it out too but at that stage they were still trying to hang onto Lewandowski. Will he end up being forced to stay?
