Last year dead rubbers didn't go ahead in this competition but remains up to the two counties and both might feel they need the extra game before next months championship.

We lost our final game to Kerry in Tralee by 2-17 to 1-18.

The Galway team below who lost to Kerry. Most of that lot are underage next year, the Mayo game is less than 2 weeks away. Matthew Tierney is to come back into that side and perhaps the eldest of the 2 Monaghan's.

Yeah Paul Kelly is another who should come into the mix - I think he played in the previous game against Kerry.
The younger Monaghan was wing back in the minor final 2 years ago so may come into it as well as the older brother.
