Would you jeopardise a million pound career if there was any risk? As great as it would be to play in an AI final, imagine getting so close to every kids dream just to miss out at the last second.

Quote from: trileacman on June 29, 2025, 12:33:37 AMI thought McGeary was excellent. Good 2-pointer and did a lot of trojan work in defence. Kicked one free straight to touch but I don't remember the other instances of him losing possession. One of the few players to have a good 1st and 2nd half. Thought Morgan was in the running for MOTM too or Teague who got nailed by a blow to the head but never tired.
Thought Morgan was strong yesterday as well. Has got to grips with the new kick outs now, and despite a lack of runners is hitting them well. Good to see.

Very true. Tried Linekers there but no joy. Apparently Finnegan's is showing.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on June 25, 2025, 10:58:34 PMAny decent trimmers out there that you don't have to constantly change the trimmer wire? or has the ability to keep a steady wire length

You can swap wire out for slightly larger diameter which would take more abuse.

google the trimmer you have for alternatives.

Also check out the head on your strimmer. Some have the fast feed system where you push the head into the ground and there's a button on the bottom that then allows the wire feed out. Means you don't have to do it manually. Only takes a second or two once you get used to it.

Or you could put the chain link one on and buy some shin guards. 🫣

I would say that this Alternative A5 were through the application with a microscope looking for any avenues to challenge. That's why, I'd be concerned that should they satisfy the Climate controls issues. Would another case be lodged on a different issue. It's a delaying tactic to prevent this happening as long as possible. There should be a limit to the number of appeals that a group can lodge.

I know a fair few from Fermanagh who were down and brought the family. Ones who have never had the kids down before. That wouldn't have happened without it.

Quote from: ONeill on June 15, 2025, 11:16:54 PMThought Morgan was excellent today. Best player. Great to see Meyler on the field.
It's the power, speed and direction of his passing. It's unreal. I haven't seen a better passer of the ball in my time imo.

Still think we need a bit more on the kick out strategy. I know Morgan has looked jittery at times ( To be fair all keepers have with the new rules) but our running into space for kick outs is still poor. We're relying on Morgan hitting pin point passes a lot of the time and that's putting him under pressure. A few times he was nearly called for taking too long, but there was literally nothing on to hit. Then when one of his lockouts goes slightly off, he's getting the blame.
But that's nick picking on a day when they did so much right.

Quote from: Walter Cronc on June 12, 2025, 09:21:50 AMYou really have to wonder what the future is for unionism/loyalism. Any unionists i work with, their children all in uni on the 'mainland' with the vast majority not returning. Meanwhile we are left to pick up the tab with these narrow minded bigots. How they are brought into a united Ireland, whether its two federal states or one i do not know.

There is no future for Loyalism. Even the English hate them. They are a complete scourge on normal everyday people.
Loyalism is moving to a new era. They see the writing on the wall, they have lost the battle to keep nationalists as 2nd class citizens. Every years things level up a bit more and they see that as something being taken from them, an eroding of their "kulture". Nationalists are no longer the minority they once were, that were easy to subvert and control. So Now they are directing that same authoritarian aggression at a different minority. The extreme right wing and loyalism go hand in hand. They've just changed the boogeyman.

I think we get it, you like the new rules. Unless we hear differently, we'll assume you still like the new rules. You don't need to spam the board to tell us how much you like the new rules all the time.
