Will the FBD final be in a neutral venue? Or will it be played in Bekan?

FBD league matches have always been played home/away when counties play each other. Don't now why you think that would change.

Because it's not a league system next year. The biannual Ballinlough/Ballyhaunis games won't be going ahead.
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

Yes an open draw format next year which will likely mean a neutral venue for the final.

The Connacht championship is an open draw 'system' too

Must have missed all those neutral venue Connacht matches

Home and away venues is set into the system for the Connacht championship. In this new FBD format teams that was drawn out first got home advantage.

Andy Moran reckons that Mayo need to concentrate on the FBD, that's not breaking it down into silly stuff. That's being serious, Mayo haven't won a trophy for a long time he said.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

That is breaking it down to silly stuff. Dads Army will have little appetite for picking up unwanted injuries on the dodgy pitch days of January.

He has also talked up the round 1 game in the NFL v Roscommon as a "massive game"

Silly stuff or not he has point on Mayo not winning trophies.  The last FBD Mayo won was 2012,last NFL title won was 2001 and Mayo are 3 years without a provincial title for the first time since 2002.

It is, because it will be seen from a far as one of three games needed to win to stay in Division One.

My guess is that Mayo will be like all Mayo teams since 2012. No interest in the FBD, Little or no interest in the League other that getting three wins. A bit of a push to win Connacht in the middle gears. The Super 8's is new so this so my guess is it  will be all about getting through it without bursting a gut. From then on it's bursting a gut time. The Caveat is that we more than likely will come a cropper in the backdoor or the super 8's. Dads army won't have the legs for the extra games.

I can't find any odds for this tournament. Will Boyles and Powers be putting odds together on this?

They get momentum, they go mad, here they go

Roscommon and Mayo are highly likely to meet the weekend before the NFL game in the FBD final if Horan is taking that competition so seriously..
