Quote from: Easttyrone23 on January 24, 2025, 01:10:27 AMIf I had the chance to decide The round 1 fixtures in terms of entertainment, these would be the exact 4 fixtures I'd choose. Galway vs Armagh- a repeat of the all Ireland final with both fancying to be up there again come the end of the season.

Tyrone vs Derry - 2 new managers with orourke winning an all Ireland with a Derry club and paddy tally being a Tyrone man and playing a huge part in Tyrone winning their first Sam managing Derry.

Dublin vs Mayo - good historic rival with both teams being in a bit of a transition.

Kerry vs Dublin - many see the 2 of them as favourites for Sam this year. Plus be interesting to see Murphy and Clifford with these new rules.
Dublin fielding 2 teams now? :D

They finally split it in two I guess.

I would assume that any postponements will be made based on any damage to infrastructure rather than the actual weather as the storm will be gone by the time the matches are being played.

Aye there's no cup tied in Europe any more. It's more about registration dates for certain rounds. For example, if Celtic signed someone today they couldn't play against Villa as the cut off for the groups was in August/September to register your squad but there will be another registration window before the knockouts.

Saw the pictures. Best indoor facility in Ireland is now an outdoor facility.

The only thing I can think of if there is no replacement striker is Maeda plays central with Kuhn and Jota wide. Maeda has played that role well for Japan.

Would the Ulster Council not have to accept a degree of responsibility over Casement? They were handed the keys and it hasn't happened.

I'd genuinely pull out of the competition at this point. If we can't play home games then why was that not stipulated before the draw was made?

Don't think there's any "Kyogo money". Pretty much a swap, Kyogo for Jota. Any replacement will have to be funded elsewhere.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on January 24, 2025, 12:17:49 AMThe warning went off at the supermarket and people left the tills to go back and get more bog roll...

I joke but people are bonkers

I did put the garden stuff in garage though, just in case

We were training when the warning went off and I was over getting more balls out of the bag beside all the girls gear. About a dozen phones went mental at once and I nearly had a bloody heart attack.

Quote from: Saffrongael on January 23, 2025, 09:10:21 PMNot sure I have ever seen a sentence as long as the person in England guilty of the Southport murders, outside of a whole life order obviously.

Deserves every day of it the bastard.

I read earlier in the week that they couldn't give him life as he was under 18 at the time of the attack.

Kyogo a done deal. Definitely need a replacement.

City win next week and they're through as some of the ones above them play each other.

Actually very similar to the game at the weekend. Dominant first half with nothing to show for it but got over the line. Delighted to still be in Europe and hopefully works out we get someone we can be competitive against.

Is there a rule that says grounds must be so big in Ulster Championship? If not, tough.
