Laois beat Kerry last weekend in a challenge.

Tyrone are that bit ahead of Kerry in work done and in general.

Be surprised if Tyrone didn't win by 5/8 points.

Yes it's a good time to play Kerry and i would expect Tyrone to win by 4 or 5 points at least.

It's worth noting that it's actually 15 euro if you buy the tickets in advance. They all seem to be available online so should be easy access to most people for them. The 20 euro being thrown about in all the headlines is a bit misleading.

Still increase of 3 euro on last year and many people buy tickets on the day.

So, was this passed?

Yes. This increase will likely backfire with lower attendances now. If its money those at the top are looking to make they should be lowering prices bring in bigger crowds which would gain the same amount of money if not more.

That is a huge list of players that Galway are missing, desperately need Heaney, McDaid & Kyne to be available next week. I know Cavan are missing a few of their better players including McKiernan but if their well ahead of Galway in the fitness stakes they'll win. Look at the stunt Roscommon pulled 3 years ago when they were miles ahead of everyone in the fitness stakes and then out on their feet come the important part of the summer.

3/1 for a Cavan win is great value.

I'd say they were no different in fitness stakes as Galway were last year. The big difference Roscommon got a hammered in their final league game that year while Galway gained confidence and belief from their competitive performance v Dublin in the league final.

For all of talk about Galway missing players they could still field about 11 of last summers championship team on Sunday. Cavan i believe will have more change to their starting line up than that.

So with Comer out the only likely change Galway will make from Sunday's team for the opening rounds of the NFL is Cooke for Farragher?

Well we will all see in the o Byrne cup on tg4 tonight the rules live on tv.

13 mins gone  1 score, not sure are the new rules to blame for such a low quality and error ridden game so far?

When is the official word coming out if these new rules are staying in place for the NFL or not? A bit daft having teams currently training to adjust to the new rules when they might not be used in the weeks ahead.

Very difficult to predict again this year. Galway & Kerry missing a lot of players through Crokes & Corofin and both teams are missing several players through injuries too.

Dublin 8/15
Kerry 13/2
Tyrone 8/1
Mayo 9/1
Galway 10/1
Monaghan 16/1
Roscommon 40/1
Cavan 50/1

Don't get Monaghan's odds, along with Tyrone I can't see them going down; Either side don't appear to be missing many players.

I think Roscommon & Cavan will go down but don't think its as clear cut as some seem to think.

Monaghan definitely the value bet

Monaghan don't have the squad dept for to give the League a go and then have a go at the Ulster Championship! 16/1 is about right!

I don't think 16/1 is right for a team that finished 3rd in the league last year and just inches away from reaching the AI final. Kerry odds are far too short, Weren't that convincing in the league or championship last year and are in full blown transition now. New manager and loads of new and young players introduced into the team. No Crokes players will make things more difficult for them.
