Would imagine Harte didn't want to manage another Ulster team.

Whilst you should've been removed from this discussion board, that probably makes sense.  I'd still have you barred.

Antrim missed a trick there. Could have swayed him with the new Casement and the sleeping giant etc etc.

I said that we should approach him kinda joking in the Antrim thread, we would have been a more attractive proposition than Louth. Ahhh sure it's done now, fair play to Louth

No way Antrim could afford Harte

Could easily & better prospects than Louth.  Harte probably didn't want the inherent negativity.  Missed out.   Although IMO Stevie O'Neill & Enda McGinley will secure promotion with the foundations already laid for them.

The problem isn't with 1 fool.  It's the poll at the top of the page.  If Angelo wants to argue ethics with Plato that's up to him.  I say censor away western democratic regimes...

Probably.  More lockdowns or an acceptable (but avoidable) death toll.  Or national mindset change.  I'm not adding much that hasn't already been said.

The metric NEVER changed.  Your (and much of the public's) did.  Very important to read facts before commenting.  There's a reason behind the metric.  For example I might drive my car head first into a wall because I caught COVID 19 and don't want to infect my daughter who will die if she catches it.  Sorry to be blunt and dramatic but the misinformation pedalled scares the bejaysus out of me.

"the 28 day metric" as you call it wasn't false or a lie.  The public's perception was "distorted" as you say.  Not a good example at all.  Censorship is a different argument.   Self censorship/state censorship/censorship by public pressure etc etc.  Can of worms going back to day dot irrespective of Tiktok, Insta etc etc

McGeeney was no.2 to Paul Grimley that year.

Agree Tonto but McEvoy should've done better for the goal.   GKs always easy targets.

I see Labour in UK pushing for anti-vac censorship law to stop idiots posting misinformation.  Interesting.

Shane McConville, either McEntee? At least a different goalie might get a run.
And what are they going to do different with the backs we have?

With the exception of Kennedy our back 4 are not up to it. We must have no other players in the county who are better or we would play them!!! Right. It seems the team management are forced into making adjustments out the field to compensate for this weak defense and evidence today's game... that's not working
I'm not sure the players are there right now in Armagh club football. I thought Forker done ok, Shields is great going forward and agree Kennedy is decent. We have no decent man markers nor a commanding goalkeeper
Well that's the joy of a new approach, trying something new, who knows? Maybe try something different with different personnel.

Comparing 2014 AI QF loss v Donegal wouldn't be a wasted exercise.  Didn't have a commanding GK then either, forwards & MF decent enough but also missed plenty that day if I remember right.  Difference I'd say is in the standard of defender.  I'd agree that Kennedy is the only one who would've got a game in 2014.  Donegal have also been transformed from then.   Their HFs are outstanding.   Not sure if they've that many players who survived from then?   Maybe 5/6?  Armagh only have about 3/4.  Somebody could research it.  Might have a look..
