There was a 'Gazza' lad playing on development squads there for kerry, I think he was Kerry North. Is he not around any more do the Kerry lads no? That extended panel is fairly young, I recognise a couple of names as being U17s.

I presume the 3 Dingle players are all on the Hogan Cup winning team - sneaky Kerry move with the different names  :D

I would have thought there would have been more from PCD around the panel . Are a lot of the PCD team overage?

Any famous relatives in there -I presume the Conor Geaney from Dingle is something to Paul?

Some spread of clubs represented.

Seems to be a big turn-over from last year's winning crop. Any chance of a Kerry double to match the Hogan Cup double?

The big spread of clubs is a good thing in my view. Means the development squads are doing their work.

Shrewdness

Even though they would have been missing some of the Roscommon CBS lads, i don't think this year's Ros Minor team will be up to the level of some of our more recent teams..I know that the Connacht Minor league can be hard to judge because of different players being tried in different positions etc. But it didn't go that well for Ros. They had 2 and 3 point wins over Mayo and Sligo, but lost 4-12 to 0-14 to Leitrim, lost 5-9 to 2-7 against Galway and conceded 3 goals in losing to Longford. Maybe the returning CBS lads can help to turn it around.

Syferus

If anyone thinks we've got a good draw think again. Sligo and Leitrim might be the best teams at Connacht minor this year, Sligo are the minor league champions and Leitrim had a fantastic U16 side two years and and whacked four goals past us in the league.

We have a few CBS lads to bring back in but that semi-final will be a real war. Looking forward to it already.

Is there no backdoor in Ulster and Connacht?

Crazy the differences in the provinces
