I like to see the fairways more narrow, then everyone would have to play from the rough, not just me

Starts tomorrow.
Westwood favourite @ 11/1 Laoislad must have a fortune on him.. bookies running scared.

Not much value in the fancied players in the betting
Westwood Donald McIlroy Mahan Stricker Kucher Johnson and Watney have a grand total of zero majors between them!!

Tony Baloney

I'd have a few quid on McIlroy.

What price was GMac last year?

And how many of the last, say, 10 major winners have been maiden major winners?? 7 or 8 i think?  Do you think the winner won't come from that pack?

Out of those names i've a small wager on Stricker plus a few more outsiders...

This is his week,I can feel it!
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

I think its terrible bad value for those guys to be favourites when they have no major between them.
And at least 7 of the 8 will still have no major come Sunday!!!
Watney for example has made the top 60 once in 4 attempts at the US open yet is a fraction of the price of the likes of Goosen and Ogilvy.

Big Puff

I went for Els as he has won at this course before.

Think he has the mental forte to pull this one out of the bag.
